Fax sucks, and forced-subscription fax apps do too. We don't do that. Just watch an ad and send your free fax.
FreeFax understands. We also can't believe you have to do this. We want it all to be over too. Our deal is: watch an ad, and it pays for the sending of the fax. Boom, done, bye bye--go on with your life and delete our app. Hopefully we'll never hear from you again.

Okay, you can pay $1 in the app and skip all the ads. Or $2 if you have a monstrous pile of paper.
YOU'RE MAKING ME WATCH MORE THAN ONE AD
That's cuz 1 ad gives us enough money to pay for 1 fax page. This is not a charity; just watch more ads, Jason. Watch like 3 ads so that you can send your 3-page thing. The price of "free" is time (or data, but we don't sell or use your data).
BUT WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY
The docs you scan are only stored locally on the app on your phone (and not even shared with your phone's photo app), we don't have them on our side. And your phone will auto-delete it after 48 hours. We haven't tried to scan our body parts, but if you do, your "docs" are just between you and who you send them to.
CAN YOU SEND TO NON-USA NON-CANADA PHONE NUMBERS
No, we only let you send to USA and Canada phone numbers. Good luck with your significant other in Japan (see above).
WHOA THESE SCANS ARE CRISP
Yes we did a ton of AI-powered image quality improvements specifically for faxes, way beyond the basic scans that others use. We, unlike others, like to use modern technology.
DOES IT WORK / ITS NOT WORKING
Yes, Sally, the app works. But fax machines are awful ancient technology--if the recipient's fax machine is off or out of ink or paper or if someone is on a phone call with that number, the fax will fail. We wish we were joking. Just try again later.
HOW DO I KNOW THEY RECEIVED MY FAX
You call them and ask. Yes, that is how things were done pre-internet, which is apparently the age they still live in.
- Drag-and-drop re-ordering of the docs. Cuz fax machines print in a certain order.
- Visual clarity on which page will print first, so you can make a good first impression.
