Version 1.5 — GPS Accuracy Pass We re-verified GPS coordinates for all 124 sites along the route, from Washington to Southern California — cross-checking each one against current mapping data and, where needed, historical records. Four locations got position corrections, including Seaside Promenade (OR), Brookings Harbor (OR), Muir Beach Overlook (CA), and Santa Monica Pier — each was pointing several hundred feet off from where it should be. Under the hood, this builds on the coordinate navigation fix from our last update, so Apple/Google Maps directions should now land you right on target at every stop.

What's new in version 1.40 Every one of the app's 124 historic sites has been individually re-verified against current mapping data. GPS coordinates were corrected at several dozen sites — including a few significant misses, like Heceta Head Lighthouse, which had been pinned over half a mile from the actual tower. Street addresses were corrected at several other sites where the listed address didn't match the map location. The result: tapping "Directions" on any site now should take you to the right spot, every time. This update also adds a small version and content-date footer to the About Me page, so you can always confirm you're running the latest data at a glance.

Managing your favorites just got easier. You can now clear all of your saved sites in one tap directly from the My Favorites screen — no more visiting each site individually to remove it. A simple "Clear all favorites" link appears beneath the trip time card whenever you have sites saved. A confirmation prompt protects against accidental deletions.
