I’ve been loving this immensely. Experiencing the world like our own little Atelier game, but it’s crazy that we have to subscribe just to buy tokens as well? I did the 3 day trial and had to cancel the subscription before I paid because I’m waiting for my next paycheck and yet when the 3 days were over and I went to buy a few tokens instead since they’re cheaper, so that I could continue just a little bit, it says I have to subscribe?! I’m sorry. Who forces users to be only a subscriber AND pay for additional tokens on top of that, just to play and interact with the app. You should be able to buy tokens at any time, not just with a subscription. I was baffled that I was stopped from spending money on your app because I wasn’t a subscriber, that’s crazy and I’ve never seen that done before. It’s a great “game” and experience and I love the back and forth between the world and characters despite it needing a lot of work still, but the payments around this app are too extreme. I’ve used other A.I. chat apps and they don’t charge an arm and a leg for text on a screen. This is a very interactive app and I appreciate the work that’s gone into it, but there needs to be a better consumer friendly method, because preventing your users from experiencing a legitimate experience for something that is just back and forth texting in the style of “choose your own adventure” is absurd. I’ll gladly pay to use this app, but it shouldn’t be to these extremes, and you shouldn’t be forced to be a subscriber either.

I went into it thinking oh hey. This could be fun, but it’s just been a major hassle. It’s expensive in the worst way, and even trying to flirt or romance with stuff, every response is “You’re my best buddy!” “You’re my partner!” “Let’s not talk about this. Let’s do adventure stuff!”I came in this wanting some good RP and basically got a story I have no control over.

As soon as you’re done with the tutorial and sent a few messages they expect a payment otherwise they don’t let you chat, they’re already gathering data which will be sold and used to train the model(s), on top of that they expect a monthly or yearly membership for you to use the chat bot, 0/10 not worth the cost.The other annoyance is when you first open the chat bot after creating an account (mandatory), they assume you have no brain since they teach you how to chat, no idea why they need to make a guide on where to type and how to chat, it’s obvious, chat bots aren’t new.

I think the game is fun and the adventure aspect is cool but charging us for chat tokens ontop of a sub is already expensive imo.
