Off-Route Voice Alerts When following a guided route, FreedomTrack now speaks "Off route" the moment you deviate beyond your chosen tolerance. Once you return, it confirms "Back on route." The alert repeats every 30 seconds while you remain off course, so you're never left guessing. Configure the detection threshold in Settings → Turn Voice Guidance: 30 m (tight city streets), 60 m (default), 100 m, or 150 m (wide trails). Enable or disable the alert independently from the main voice guidance toggle. Faster Voice Announcements Voice cues — pace, ready/set/go, off-route, turn instructions — are now noticeably faster on all devices, including older iPhones. The speech synthesizer is pre-warmed when the app launches, and the audio session stays active throughout your tracking or guided-navigation session, eliminating the Bluetooth re-negotiation delay that could add 1–3 seconds of silence before each cue. Track Details — Full Height The track details sheet now opens at full screen height instead of half-screen, giving you immediate access to all stats, analysis, and action buttons without an extra swipe. Web Portal Analysis The activity analysis page on the web portal now matches the app: Performance (VO₂max, TRIMP, aerobic decoupling, fastest/slowest split, recovery estimate), Elevation Profile (start, end, min, max, range, net gain/loss), and Grade Distribution (visual bar with uphill / flat / downhill percentages) are all displayed alongside the narrative for every shared route.

Pro Analysis A professional performance report generated entirely in the cloud for any saved route — including imported ones. Tap "Get Pro Analysis" in the route detail sheet to receive: VO₂max estimate (Uth-Sørensen or HR-pace method), Banister TRIMP training load, aerobic decoupling (Friel efficiency factor), five HR zones with time distribution, km splits with pace and heart rate, cadence assessment, elevation profile, grade distribution, and a 4–5 paragraph AI-written narrative tailored to your data. The report is generated in the language you have selected in Settings. Uses credits; cost shown before confirming.

GPS accuracy filter Positions with poor satellite accuracy or impossible speed jumps are now automatically discarded before they reach your track. This prevents scattered GPS points from appearing in the route polyline, elevation profile, and live map. Bluetooth sensor reconnection Heart rate monitors, cadence sensors, power meters, and speed sensors now reconnect automatically every 10 seconds when signal is lost during an activity — including at app launch if the device was off or out of range. No need to go to Settings to reconnect manually.

freedomTrack is now free Local GPS tracking, stats, voice notes, and photos are always free — no subscription required, no time limits. Cloud features use credits purchased when you need them. Pay per use Buy a credit pack and spend only what you use: upload a route (20 cr), start live sharing (15 cr), join a Group Ride (10 cr), add a photo (5 cr), or record a voice note (3 cr). Credits never expire. SOS is always free. Ultra subscription Prefer unlimited? Ultra gives full, unrestricted access to every cloud feature — no credit tracking, no limits. Available monthly or yearly. Rejoin live tracks When a contact invites you to their live track, a button stays in the Routes tab so you can rejoin at any time — even after closing the live view.

Bluetooth Sensors Connect heart rate monitors, cadence sensors, and power meters via Bluetooth. Live readings appear on the tracking screen and are included in activity reports and AI analysis. Weather Along Your Route Temperature, wind, and precipitation are captured automatically at the start, every 10 km, and at the end of each route. Shown on track cards, the map, and activity details. Requires internet. Group Ride Improvements Scan a QR code to join a group instantly — no extra tap needed. The sheet closes automatically once you join. Quick Cellular Toggle New button on the map sidebar to enable or disable map tile downloads on mobile data without opening Settings. Fixes Auto-pause no longer triggers notifications when the feature is disabled. Renaming a public route no longer resets its visibility to private.

Multilanguage support The app now speaks your language: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Catalan, Japanese, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) and Russian. Change the language in Settings → Language & Announcements. Performance reports and voice announcements also respect your chosen language. Weather along your route Temperature, wind and conditions shown on track cards, the map and activity details. Weather context is also included in AI-generated route reports. Group Ride and live sharing Auto-generated display alias (e.g. "Swift Falcon") for Group Ride and live sharing links — no account needed. Improved interface Redesigned live tracking panel with quick access to stats and sharing. New chart icon on the tracking toolbar for faster access to track details. Simplified live tracking popup: fewer taps to stop or share your live location. Track preview image only shown when photos have been captured. Fixes Background music no longer ducks when opening the app. Stability and performance improvements.
