Know the max hammer you can bid before buyer premium, VAT, shipping, insurance, care, framing, and FX break your ceiling.
HammerCap is an auction bid calculator for collectors, design buyers, and advisors who need the real all-in ceiling before the paddle goes up.
Enter the lot estimate, your all-in budget, buyer premium, tax or VAT, shipping, insurance, care, framing, and optional FX. HammerCap calculates the maximum hammer bid that keeps the purchase inside your ceiling, then prepares a concise bid note you can copy or share.
Use HammerCap for art, antiques, design, watches, estate sales, and other collectible auctions where the final price can move quickly beyond the hammer.
Features:
- Maximum hammer bid from an all-in ceiling
- Buyer-premium presets for common auction categories
- Tax/VAT, shipping, insurance, care, framing, and FX inputs
- Low and high estimate all-in checks
- Copy/share bid note
- Local persistence on device
- No account, backend, tracking, ads, or subscription
HammerCap is a calculator only. Always verify auction-house terms, buyer premium, taxes, shipping, and currency assumptions before bidding. HammerCap does not provide tax, legal, appraisal, investment, or financial advice.
