Breadkrumb: Travel Companion
Save places from your feed
Only for iPhone
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Your trip now works without a signal. Upcoming trips save to your phone, moments capture offline and upload when you reconnect, and friends are one message away.
Every travel video, screenshot and link a friend sends you is saved somewhere. None of it is findable when you finally go.
Share a reel to Breadkrumb and the places it mentions land on your board, mapped and ready. When the trip becomes real, the board becomes the plan, and the people you invited come with it.
SAVE PLACES FROM YOUR FEED
Share a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube link and the places in it land on a board: mapped, with photos and ratings, tagged eat, stay, or do. Every saved place keeps a link back to the video that inspired it.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your trips stay yours. Share only what you choose, with only who you choose. No public feed, no noise.
BUILT FOR GROUPS & COUPLES
• Plan together in one shared workspace
• Everyone adds ideas, comments, and votes
• Shared checklists so nothing gets forgotten
• Day-by-day itineraries laid out on a map
• Invite your crew with a link or QR code
RECS FROM PEOPLE YOU TRUST
Discover places from your friends' real trips, not anonymous internet reviews. A tip from someone you know beats a stranger's star rating.
KRUMBLY, WHEN YOU WANT A HAND
Krumbly can turn a link or a rough idea into a real itinerary, and it remembers your plan as it evolves. Prefer to plan it all yourself? Do that. Krumbly is a companion, never the pilot, and you control what it remembers.
ONE APP, NOT SEVEN
Replaces the group chat, the notes app, the saved screenshots, and the half-finished spreadsheet. Itinerary, journal, checklists, and collaboration in one place. When the trip is done, turn it into a Trip Story worth keeping.
Start planning your next trip together. See the world through people you trust.

more Messages, albums, and moments you can capture anywhere.
- Capture moments offline: take a photo with no signal and it saves on your phone, then uploads on its own when you reconnect.
- Messages: a new inbox on your home screen. Message a friend directly, or open a trip's chat right where you are.
- Trip covers: pick any photo from your story as the trip's cover.
- Feed: react to a moment from the card or from its detail view. When someone reacts to yours, the notification takes you straight to it.
- Albums: open an album and friends can add photos for a set time, without using an invite.
- Live mode: your saved ideas are one tap away while the trip is happening, and a stop built from your own moments says so.
- Photos: long-press and drag to select a range when adding to a trip.
- Saved links now confirm the save straight away, with the time it landed.
Fixes:
- Continue no longer looks dead on the first tap.
- Invite links open the invite instead of landing on Home.
- Times show in your local time.
- The story no longer claims photos are missing when they are not.
- Route tracking no longer loses the start of a long drive with no signal.
1.6.0 1d ago
Share the trip while it is happening. This update brings moments to your Circle, a smoother first look for guests, and a batch of fixes.
- Moments in your Circle. Tap the plus in Circle to capture a photo with the camera or pick one from your library. Your moment shows up for your Circle and lands in your own collection.
- A better first look. Trying Breadkrumb before creating an account now has a cleaner look, clearer progress while your sample trip builds, and honest
screens when something takes a moment.
- Invited by a friend? Tell us who sent you and we will get you connected.
- Fixes: a saved circle no longer reports a failure that did not happen, and a rare crash on flaky connections is gone.
1.5.0 Oct 7
Sharing from Instagram and TikTok now works the first time, every time. If a share is ever interrupted, it is saved and waiting the next time you open the app. Captions also show their emoji properly now.
Your boards now put places first. The places you have saved lead the screen, links that are still processing or need attention stay pinned at the top, and links that finished tuck into a tidy "Saved links" shelf.
Saved links got smarter:
- Links show a picture from the post
- We can notify you the moment places from a saved link are ready to review
- A saved link's detail view now shows the caption up top, with category filters over the places we found
- If we could not confidently match a place, you can find it yourself with one tap
- If a link could not be read, you can retry right from the board, and the original link stays one tap away
Trip albums keep growing. When someone with your album link asks to add photos, they verify their number and you approve with one tap. Being added to an album now comes with a notification that takes you straight there, and shared trip and album links open directly in the app.
When the assistant adds places to your plan, you now get a clear receipt: what was added, what was not, and why, with a shortcut to your itinerary.
Plus smaller fixes and polish throughout.
1.4.2 Sep 14
Save travel ideas straight from your feed.
Found a travel video you love? Share it to Breadkrumb and every place in it lands on a board: mapped, with photos, ratings, and eat, stay, or do tags. Works with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube links, from the share sheet or pasted right in the app.
Every saved place remembers where it came from. Tap "View original" to jump back to the video that inspired it. And when a friend keeps an idea for your trip, their name is on it.
Also in this update:
- A clearer bottom bar: Trips, Boards, Circle, and Discover each have a home now.
- Invite friends to your Circle with a link or QR code.
- Building a Trip Story? The photo picker opens right at your trip's dates, so the shots you want are one glance away, not two hundred scrolls.
- Your day agenda now pages day by day.
- A notification dot on the bell, so you know when something's waiting.
- Fixes: story maps on long routes, album sharing, checklist typing, and more.
See the world through people you trust.

BOARDS
A trip usually starts as a place you saw somewhere, months before there are dates. Boards give that somewhere to live.
• Save a place straight from the map, before you know when you're going
• Every board is a map of what you've saved
• When the dates firm up, a board becomes the trip, ideas and all
SEARCH THAT KNOWS WHAT YOU'VE SAVED
Search covers any city, plus your trips, your boards, and every place saved in them, including stops you've already checked off. Your own places are labelled with the trip they came from.
SAVE YOUR TRIP PHOTOS
Save a photo from a trip to your camera roll. Trip owners get one switch that decides whether members can, and you can always save your own.
KRUMBLY
Long-press to copy any message, or select just the part you want. When Krumbly can't apply a change, it now says so instead of going quiet.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
• Moments show the local time you were actually there, not UTC
• Photos without location data no longer break a moment, they just save
• Sign in with Google or Apple from an account you already have
• Motion, haptics and loading states across the app
• A list of fixes to deleting, retrying and refreshing
1.3.0 Aug 28
Traveling with Breadkrumb just got a lot smoother. The Live Mode (during trip) is redesigned around your agenda, any trip can now be shared by link or QR code, and imports and Trip Stories are far more reliable.
Your day, live
• Trips in progress now open to a timeline of your day, with a map that bundles nearby stops so pins never pile up.
• Tap a stop to set or change its time. Swipe to remove one.
Share a trip
• Send any trip as a link or QR code from the People tab, so anyone can copy your trip.
Smarter imports
• Importing a trip that already happened now finishes cleanly and lands in your past trips.
• When a link can't be imported, you'll see why.
Trip Story fixes
• Trips without photos no longer stall while the story builds.
• Fixed a blank first photo in place details.
• Photos still missing a date are handled more gracefully.
Chat
• A slimmer Ask Krumbly control that stays out of the way while you type, plus @Krumbly mentions with highlighting and autocomplete in a group chat.
Turn travel inspiration into trips, faster.
• Paste a TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram link into your trip chat and watch it become a card with a thumbnail, live progress, and places you can review and add to your itinerary
• A fresh welcome: pick how you want to start. Import plans you already have, plan from scratch, or relive a past trip
• Hotels now show on every night of your stay, not just check-in day
• Jot a note with no place attached and Breadkrumb parks the idea until you are ready to pin it on the map
• Bring a friend's recommendation to your group as a decision, and suggest spots from your own past trips
• Set a stop's time with a swipe on your live day view
Plus: notification badges now clear properly, better support for larger text sizes, and clearer status messages while imports process.
