A new spot for Polvio AI Summary Polvio AI Summary now sits right next to Trending in the tab bar. More on every story’s page Like, discuss, share and save are now on each trending story’s page, followed by a few questions about the story. The questions are free to read. Polvio Premium shows the answers, written by AI only from the outlets that covered the story. Pull back into the past Reached the end of Trending? Pull to bring back the stories that have dropped off the agenda, just like in the full-screen reader. A clearer Premium screen It now lists exactly what Premium adds: no ads anywhere in the app, answers to every Trending question, politicians’ recent X posts with optional alerts, up to 500 politician follows, and a personal AI briefing every morning plus a weekly one on Sundays. Plans are monthly or annual. Following politicians The free plan lets you follow up to 3 politicians (Premium: 500). Hit the limit and Polvio tells you so instead of showing an error, and the politicians you already follow stay on your list. The alerts bell, for everyone On the page of a politician you follow, the alerts bell now shows on the free plan too. Tap it to see how Premium adds new-post alerts. Fixes Headlines no longer get cut off at a news outlet’s name. Politician pages keep your place when you come back and load more news as you scroll. Google sign-in works once you’re back online, even if the sign-in screen opened without a connection. The Political Compass slider holds steady in Arabic. Retry buttons reload properly. Switching between Latest and Most read always lands on the list you picked. Opening articles no longer lets ads pile up in memory.

Each one shows who is covering it, when it entered the agenda and when it was last updated, with a title and summary in your language. Headlines, rebuilt around trending stories The full-screen reader now flips through today’s trending stories. Pull up past the last one to bring back the stories that have dropped off the agenda, and see how long each one stayed. Like, discuss, share, save Every trending story now has its own thread, likes, a share link and a place among your saved stories, both in Trending and in the reader. Politicians in seven languages Biographies, parties and roles now read naturally in Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic and Italian. Also in this version Back buttons always take you somewhere sensible, the app adapts to a text-size change instantly, and notifications are easier to turn on if you said no the first time.

Technology is its own category Tech, chips, AI and cybersecurity no longer arrive buried in Business. Turn Technology on in your Political Compass and it appears in your feed with its own badge and colour. Stories that used to land in the wrong section now land in the right one, and a story with no clear category no longer shows a wrong badge. The screen is yours while you read The top bar and the tab bar slide away as you scroll down, and come straight back when you scroll up. Tap the source, get the publisher The publisher name on a story now opens that publisher's page instead of the article — in News, in search, in Trending Now and on politician pages. One story card everywhere News, search, Trending Now, publisher pages, Saved and History all use the same card, so a story looks and behaves the same wherever you meet it. Faster publisher pages Publisher pages open in milliseconds instead of seconds, and search now finds a publisher by name. Your compass, one question at a time The political-leaning setup gives each axis its own screen, describes every position in words rather than numbers, and tells you exactly what your choice changes in your feed. Notifications are asked for, not taken Polvio explains what it would send before iOS ever shows the permission prompt. Also: a new launch screen, hashtags in posts, cleaner news headlines, and a politician profile that shows its own data.

Pull to refresh on Settings, plus long-press menus and undo toasts throughout.
