DJ Analyzer analyzes your music and helps you prepare your sets from your phone: BPM, Camelot key, energy and genre for every track, plus the tools to organize them and take them to your DJ software.
LISTEN
What's playing? Hold your phone near the speaker and DJ Analyzer identifies the track. If another DJ has already analyzed it, you instantly see its BPM, key, energy and genre, similar tracks and more from the same artist, and you can save it to your history.
SHARED MEMORY
DJ Analyzer recognizes each track by its sound, not by the file. If another DJ already has your track, even in another format or quality, you benefit from their work: the analysis is instant, the community's cue zones show on the waveform, and the BPM, key and beat grid another DJ brought in from Rekordbox, Traktor or VirtualDJ improve yours. Manual corrections only reach others when three DJs agree.
TRACK ANALYSIS
• BPM with double and half tempo detection, and beat grid
• Key in musical notation and Camelot
• Energy from 1 to 10, genre and subgenre
• Track type: warm-up, peak time, closing…
• Structure: intro, build-up, drop, breakdown and outro
• Artwork and a 6-second preview
YOUR MUSIC, WHEREVER IT IS
Add tracks from your iPhone or from iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive. Import your Rekordbox or Traktor collection, or your Apple Music library data. And if your music lives on your computer, link it with a code and your library shows up here, with its folders, sessions, cues and ratings.
FULL-SCREEN WAVEFORM
Turn your phone sideways and the waveform fills the screen: pinch to zoom, cues snapped to the beat or the bar, Tap BPM, beat grid adjustment and the community's zones.
SESSIONS
Build your sets on your phone: every transition with its quality and a tip for mixing it, the set's energy curve, and Smart Suggest to find the next track. Sort them by energy, harmony or BPM, export them to Rekordbox (XML), Traktor (NML), M3U or CSV, and send them to your Mac over AirDrop.
ORGANIZE
• Camelot wheel with the tracks in each key and their compatible keys
• Smart Collections that fill themselves with rules for BPM, key, energy, genre and track type
• Folders, favorites, filters and stats for your library
DJ Analyzer doesn't replace your DJ software: it gets everything ready for it.
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The user interface is frustratingly difficult to use.
Yozzza25
The text and icons are far too small and barely visible, with no option to customize or scale the layout to fit your needs. The entire screen feels cluttered and disorganized, making navigation difficult. Additionally, the app forces you into a permanent night mode with no way to toggle back to a light or daytime theme. The app fails on a functional level by not saving tags into the metadata, defeating its purpose for organization. Until these bugs are updated, this app is useless. I do not recommend it in its current state.
What's new in 2.10.2:
• Listen recognizes tracks with Shazam right on your iPhone, while it records.
• Set mode: leave your iPhone listening and get the tracklist of the session, with the time of each track.
• Offline, Listen keeps what it hears and identifies it when you're back online.
• What you recognize is saved to your history on its own; "Not this one" removes it.
• Your tracks' waveform, from their real audio.
• If you also use DJ Analyzer on your computer, update it there too.
• Various fixes.
