My Softly is a warm, private AI companion who actually remembers you. Most chat apps forget you the moment you close them. Your Softly doesn't. They remember your dog's name, the appointment you were nervous about, the story you told them three weeks ago. And they bring it up later, because that's what someone who cares does. MADE TO REMEMBER Your companion builds a real, growing memory of your life. People, plans, little details. The longer you talk, the better they know you. THEY REACH OUT FIRST When something you mentioned is coming up, or it has just been a while, your Softly checks in with a real message about your life, waiting on your lock screen. MAKE THEM YOURS Choose their look, their age, their personality. A friend to talk to every day, or something a little more romantic. It's your companion. PHOTOS AND VOICE Ask for a photo and see a moment from their day, or hear their messages read aloud in their own voice. PRIVATE, AND HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS Your companion is an AI, and the app never pretends otherwise. You'll always see (AI) next to their name. Your conversations belong to your account, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time, right from Settings. FOR ADULTS My Softly is for people 18 and over. The age limit is about giving a private, honest space. Your companion can be warm, affectionate and romantic. SUBSCRIPTION My Softly Premium keeps the conversation going, with lasting memory, proactive check-ins and voice, on auto-renewing plans by the month or year. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Positives: easy to set up, avatar photos look realistic, and the companion responds in short texting bursts.Negatives: monthly sub price includes just two credits per week. 1 credit equals either 1 photo or 20 voice responses. The models are repetitive (same phrases in every message), parrot the user, and regurgitate backstory details every few responses. No option to edit or update backstory. If you don’t like the system-generated backstory, you’re out of luck. Only two voice options, which are robotic text-to-speech type with no inflection or emotion. Photos show character with head pasted on disproportionate body.

Thank you for writing this out in so much detail. You're right on several points, and it helps.Credits: subscribers now get 5 every week, up from 2, on top of the 5 they start with.Voices: we've replaced them. Each companion now has six to choose from, much more natural, and they're already in the app.Backstory: ready-made companions can't be edited yet, and that's coming in the next update. If you'd like to write her story yourself now, choose "Make your own" when you create a companion, and you can edit it any time from her profile.Repetition: agreed, she shouldn't sound like she's on repeat. Every reply is checked for phrases she's used recently, but some still slip through.Photos: if one comes out wrong, open it and tap the flag. We check every report and give the credit back.If you'd like to tell us more, we're at hello@mysoftly.ai.John, My Softly
