This update adds weather checks while driving and notes for driving records. ■ New Features ・Nearby weather check while recording You can now check the weather around your current location while driving, including temperature, humidity, precipitation chance, and wind speed. ・Next 3-hour weather outlook DriveTrail now checks the forecast for the next 3 hours to help you notice possible rain or worsening weather conditions. ・Save weather information to drive records Fetched weather information, address, fetch time, and the next 3-hour outlook are saved to your driving record. You can review the weather from the detail screen after your drive. ・Drive notes You can now add freeform notes to each driving record. Use notes for travel memories, places visited, road conditions, fuel notes, and more. ■ Improvements ・Adjusted the map center on the recording screen The map position has been adjusted so your current location is less likely to be hidden behind the weather card or control panel. ・Added a cooldown for manual weather updates To reduce WeatherKit usage, manual weather updates are temporarily disabled after each update. ・Expanded backup data Drive notes and weather information are now included in backup and restore. Improved the Lock Screen display while recording a drive. Distance and speed shown in Live Activity now update more reliably while your iPhone is asleep. Route image updates on the Lock Screen have also been optimized to help keep driving information responsive during recording.

Improved backup restore behavior. Previously, restoring a backup replaced all current data. With this update, backup contents such as driving records, vehicles, and photos are now added to your existing data instead. If an existing vehicle has the same name, maker, model, and year, DriveTrail avoids creating a duplicate and automatically links restored driving records to that vehicle.

DriveTrail v1.0.3 introduces the new Free and DriveTrail Pro plans. The Free version lets you save up to 10 driving records. DriveTrail Pro unlocks unlimited driving records, multiple vehicle registration, and GPX / KML / HTML / MP4 exports. Users who previously purchased the paid version can continue using Pro features at no additional cost. This update also improves purchase status display, refines the Pro upgrade screen, and includes minor bug fixes.

[Version 1.0.2 Update] Added a feature that measures vehicle vibration while driving and displays road surface conditions in five color-coded levels, from green (comfortable) to red (very poor). For driving records created with version 1.0.1 or earlier, all road surface conditions will be shown as green: comfortable. Fixed several localization issues that occurred when using the app with the device language set to English.
