Walk from London to Manchester. From your couch.
Trekko is a virtual walking game that turns every step into miles on a real-world route. Pick any two points on Earth — Trekko maps it. Walk daily, watch your dot move along the path.
No treadmill. No gym. Just walk — and travel the world.
How it works
• Pick a start and finish on the map
• Trekko builds the route — 50 km or 5,000 km
• Walk like always: to work, to the store, around the park
• Every step moves you along the virtual route
• Steps and distance sync via Apple Health
• Map shows exactly where you "are" right now
Walk it together
• Create a challenge and share the code with friends
• Everyone walks the same route, from wherever they are
• Live leaderboard — who's ahead, who's closing in
• Watch every walker move along the map
• First one to the finish takes it
Why walkers love it
• Every step has a destination — real motivation to walk more
• See distance walked, distance left, percent complete
• Calories and steps tracked along the route
• Walking becomes a game with a clear finish line
• Build a daily walking habit that actually sticks
Route ideas
• New York → Miami (2,100 km)
• Lisbon → Berlin (2,900 km)
• London → Rome (1,800 km)
• Los Angeles → San Francisco (600 km)
• Camino de Santiago (780 km)
• Around the Mediterranean coast
• Any two points on Earth — your route, your pace
Perfect for
• Step counter fans who want a goal beyond a daily number
• Hikers and walkers planning a virtual trek
• Friends who want to turn walking into a friendly race
• Pedometer users ready for a real walking challenge
• Anyone done with generic fitness apps
Apple Health
Trekko reads steps and walking distance from Apple Health. Health data is read on your device and never leaves it.
Challenges are optional. Join one and your name, photo and progress are shared over iCloud with the people in that challenge — nobody else. Walk solo and nothing leaves your device.
