Messaging • Smoother keyboard: the message bar now stays on top of the keyboard as it opens, closes and is dragged away, and your newest messages rise with it. • Smoother chat opening: recent messages are in place as soon as a chat appears. • More controlled chat-list swipes with a gentler finish. • A jump-to-newest button appears as you scroll back through a conversation. • Multi-line drafts expand properly while you type. GIFs • Send GIFs from the attachment menu, including a built-in library that works offline. • Import and paste your own GIFs. They're encrypted on your device like any other attachment. • One switch in Settings turns GIFs on or off for your account. Tools • A new floating tools bar, with an optional tools button in the bottom-right corner (Settings › Tool navigation). • SSH Terminal and SFTP: import key files of any size, and transfer files up to 5 GB. • The terminal keeps your prompt visible above the keyboard after long output. • Tool screens no longer hide buttons or text behind the bottom bar. Also • Button-click sounds removed. Message sound effects keep their own setting. • Back arrows follow your chosen app colour. • Many smaller fixes and improvements.

Apple Intelligence that gets things done • Ask it to message someone, propose a plan with a time, set a reminder, pin or mute a chat, or change a setting, and it does it straight away. • It lists what it did, with Undo for messages, plans and reminders. If a name matches more than one person, it asks which one. • Ask about a specific chat from that chat's search bar: summaries, what you agreed, or a quick reply. • It can open any part of Crypta or your tools, and turns tools on or off once you tap Apply. More Crypta Tools • SFTP Files, Code Editor and Encrypted Notes join SSH Terminal, Vault and Metadata Analysis for Premium and Exclusive. • Vault now encrypts whole folders and files up to 5 GB. • Lock any tool with Face ID, and open saved servers from new Home Screen widgets. Live location • A card in your chat list shows how long you're sharing, with an off switch. • Stopping also ends the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island timer. Look and feel • Emerald message bubbles and app colour by default, and a new Emerald Bubble app icon. • Softer chat wallpapers, smoother photo opening, and cleaner menus throughout. • See when friends have Premium or Exclusive, in chats, profiles and contacts. • The conversations widget shows message previews and unread chats. Privacy and fixes • Location and device details are removed from supported photos and files before sending. • Extra confirmation before deleting an account. • Subscribe directly from Settings. • Fixed chat list refresh errors and incorrect offline messages.

Crypta Tools • Crypta Terminal, Vault and Metadata Analysis are now included with Premium and Exclusive. • Connect directly to your own servers over SSH, encrypt files locally, and inspect file metadata on your iPhone. • Enable only the tools you want in Settings. Make Crypta yours • Choose header icons, footer navigation or hidden shortcuts. • One header menu keeps New message first, followed by your enabled tools. • Footer icons match your app colour. Premium now shares Exclusive’s green look. Also improved • Simplified encryption options, while preserving existing encrypted history. • Improved subscription purchase and restore handling. • Improved cellular connectivity and connection-status reporting.

Ask Apple Intelligence • Tap the new Apple Intelligence button in the chat list search bar to start a private chat with Apple Intelligence. • Type anything in search and choose "Ask Apple Intelligence" to get an answer straight away, or pick a suggestion to get started. • It runs entirely on your iPhone, works offline and never sees your chats. New Messages widget • See your most recent conversations right on your Home Screen, with photos, times and unread counts. • Available in small, medium and new large sizes. Use the arrows to page through more conversations. • Message text is never shown in the widget.
