Urban GreenUp
Make your city breathe
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Urban GreenUp turns every city block into an opportunity to grow something greener.
Whether you're a passionate environmentalist, a weekend volunteer, or just someone who loves trees, Urban GreenUp helps you discover plantable spots in your neighborhood, contribute to real urban greening efforts, and watch your city transform — one tree at a time.
WHY URBAN GREENUP?
Cities are heating up. Concrete is spreading. Green spaces are shrinking. Urban GreenUp is built for people who want to do something about it — without needing a backyard, a budget, or a botany degree.
KEY FEATURES
- Interactive Tree Map
See every plantable spot, existing tree, and active greening project in your city. Zoom in on your street, your park, or your commute.
- One-Tap Planting
Found a perfect spot? Tap "Plant" to register a new tree, log the species, and add it to the community map. Every tree you plant becomes part of your personal forest.
- City-Wide Coverage
Browse greening activity in Tokyo, Sapporo, Sendai, and other cities — or explore your own neighborhood block by block.
- Community Contributions
Join thousands of city greeners logging trees, sharing care tips, and celebrating new growth together. Every contribution counts.
- Track Your Impact
See how many trees you've planted, how much CO₂ they're estimated to absorb, and how your personal forest is growing over time.
- Tree Care Reminders
Get gentle reminders to water, check on, or photograph the trees you've planted, so they thrive long after planting day.
