GAIC 2.6 gives every check a clear answer. • Photos, screenshots, videos, and text now end with a lean — AI-generated or real — plus a confidence level and an estimated AI likelihood. • A new trained text checker is much more accurate on AI-written English, points out AI-written sections pasted into human writing, and notices hidden characters used to fool detectors. • Photo checks weigh a second model on every scan, with fewer false alarms on real artwork. • Reads AI labels and generation settings stored in a photo. • Check photos up to 50 MB and 120 megapixels. • The first photo scan starts faster. Results are estimates, not proof — check the original source when it matters.

Fixes a result display problem. When the optional Content Credentials check could not finish, GAIC showed that instead of the scan result, so some photo checks reported no rating at all. The scan result is now always shown, with the credential status kept alongside it. The on-device image models, their thresholds, and the app's appearance are unchanged.

The annual plan is now available in the app. Subscription plans are shown only once the App Store has confirmed their price.
