AireTrac Tech
HVAC jobs, routes & invoicing
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
AireTrac Tech is the field companion for HVAC, plumbing, and home-services technicians dispatched through AireTrac. Open the app at the start of your shift and you've got today's optimized route, every assigned job, and one-tap navigation to the next stop — no more switching between texts, paper work orders, and a separate maps app.
Built for the truck, not the office. Tap a job to see customer notes, the service address, and the equipment you're working on. Update status as the day moves — On the way, In progress, Completed — and dispatch sees it instantly. When the job is done, capture parts used, write up the work, snap before/after photos, collect a signature, and email or text the invoice before you pull out of the driveway.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Today's route, optimized — your assigned jobs ordered by drive time, with live map and ETA to the next stop.
• One-tap navigation — hand off to Apple Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
• Job lifecycle, in your pocket — Assigned, On the way, In progress, Completed, with timestamps your office can audit.
• Work logging that's actually fast — parts used, labor notes, photos, and a customer signature on the same screen.
• Photo invoices — generate a clean PDF invoice and email or text it to the customer right from the job.
• On-call toggle — flip a single switch to tell dispatch you're available for after-hours work.
• Biometric quick lock — Face ID / Touch ID guards the app between visits without forcing a full sign-in every time.
• Background GPS for dispatch — your truck's location updates the dispatch board so the office can give customers an accurate ETA. (You control this with a single setting.)
DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD
• Big, glove-friendly tap targets and high-contrast text so you can read the screen on a sun-blasted dashboard.
• Offline-tolerant — view your route and job details without bars; updates sync when you're back on signal.
• Battery-aware — GPS and route updates throttle when you're parked.
• Lightweight install, fast cold start, and no clutter you'll never use.
WORKS WITH AIRETRAC
AireTrac Tech is the technician half of the AireTrac platform. Your shop's dispatcher uses the AireTrac web dashboard to assign and route jobs; customers use the free AireTrac app to track their visit. Everything you do in this app — status changes, photos, invoices, parts — lands in your shop's records in real time.
REQUIREMENTS
• An invitation from an AireTrac shop. Your dispatcher creates your technician account; you sign in with the company handle and sign-in code they provided.
• iOS 17 or later. iPhone recommended.
• Location permission for routing and dispatch ETA. Notifications recommended for new-job alerts.
PRIVACY
Your location is shared with your dispatcher only when you're clocked in / on-call, and you can switch sharing off at any time from Profile. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads. See our privacy policy at airetrac.com/privacy.
