Good Soil is a Bible note-taking app built for people who actually study Scripture.
TYPE A VERSE, WATCH IT APPEAR
Reference a passage in your notes and the full verse text appears inline, automatically. No copy-paste, no switching apps. Type "John 1:1" and it's there.
A LIBRARY FOR YOUR STUDY
Every note in one calm, searchable place. Organize with tags, find anything instantly, and pick up your study right where you left it.
READ. HIGHLIGHT. RETURN.
Read the Bible in your preferred translation, highlight verses as you go, and your highlights are always waiting when you come back.
RECORD THE SERMON, REPLAY THE MOMENT
Capture sermon audio alongside your notes and replay it in sync with what you wrote, so a phrase in your notes takes you straight back to the moment you heard it.
YOURS, AND PRIVATE
Your notes live on your device. No account required. Back up to your own iCloud or Google Drive when you want, and share a note with anyone using a simple QR code or link.
BEAUTIFUL TO READ AND WRITE IN
Three appearance modes, Scriptorium (dark), Parchment (light), and Match System, with typography chosen for long, comfortable study.
FREE, WITH NOTHING TO UNLOCK
Good Soil is completely free. No subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls, and no locked features. Built as a gift for the church, so every feature and every update is included for everyone.
Good Soil requires an internet connection for Bible reading. Bible content is provided via YouVersion.
