Voice-note transcripts now stay visible beneath the message and can be expanded. We have improved Whisper display, photo and video previews, camera orientation, zoom, and read status. You can also swipe right on a text or photo message to reply.

New Stories now appear in conversations that are already open. We have improved Story indicator updates and recovery for Hint replies on an unreliable connection. Messages has a calmer appearance, and Friends has more room without the permanent row of zoom buttons.

Fixed an extra empty bar that could appear below the bottom menu, keeping navigation between Messages, Stories and Friends tidy.

The bottom menu now slides away and back with your chats, like iOS's own tab bar, and never goes missing. • Long replies are shown in full instead of being cut off. • The location stamp can be moved, rotated and resized right after you pick a place, and saves exactly as you placed it. • The Whisper duration picker sits on a small card right above the message field, so you can always read it. • Danish voice messages can now get a transcript, made on your iPhone. • Your Messages list tells you when a chat stays open because your friend hasn't read everything yet. • Huddles open at the newest message, and zooming out on your sky no longer shows a frame. • Clearer progress when a video is finishing sending to your Stories. • Inviting several friends at once uses the same personal message as a single invite.

Postcards are now Stories — the same private moments, revealed only in a real conversation. • Replies to long messages now send every time, and the Messages list shows your own unread count with a bar that winds down across the whole row. • The app icon shows how many messages and Hints are waiting for you. • Videos are compressed before sending, so they arrive much faster. A video saved to your Stories while sending it to chat now uploads only once, with a progress bar. • Swipe through Stories from anywhere on the screen, including the edges. • Chats you come back to open with their messages right away. • The latest message now stays in view above the keyboard and after you attach a photo, with no blank space below it. • Fixes for conversations that didn't wind down, and clearer messages when a send can't be confirmed.

More room for your connections, and conversations that wait for you. • Explore Constellation with two-finger zoom and pan. Thought bubbles stay complete, and My circle brings you back. • Queue text, photos, video, voice notes and Whispers while waiting for a Hint-back. Waiting messages arrive when the conversation opens, even after your original Hint expires. You can delete them before delivery. • Before a mutual Hint, you see only your waiting messages. Earlier conversations become available when you open a conversation together, within your Chat Memory setting. • Unread messages keep the conversation open. Once both people have read everything, a fresh six-hour window begins. You can also mark all as read or end the conversation. • A short introduction explains how chat works. Find the full explanation anytime in the chat menu and Help. • Clearer sign-in, a fix for a crash affecting verified-phone accounts, and improvements to QR codes, adding friends, incoming Hints, chat layout, keyboard behavior and video playback.

Chat and huddles now land where you are. • Open a conversation with unread messages and a line marks where you left off, with the view landing there. • Send a message and you land on it. • Receive one while you are at the bottom and the conversation follows. • Scrolled up reading older messages? You stay put. A small note appears instead, and tapping it jumps to what is new. The same applies in huddles. Also: the hint dots now update once Haelo+ has loaded, and your friend order is remembered.
