Introducing Characters! You can now add yourself, your siblings, pets, parents, or other toys as saved characters. You can add multiple characters to each story and have them interact with each other. Enjoy!

Version 3.8 makes it easier for new users that have just downloaded the app to create their first story. You won't be asked to sign in until after you've had a chance to create and read your first story.

In this version, we updated the icon of Bedtime Bee to a more appropriate, night-time icon.

We've been busy making story time smoother and more dependable: • More reliable story creation: we fixed an issue where a story could occasionally get stuck partway through. Stories now finish reliably, even when they need an extra moment behind the scenes. • Clearer, kinder messages: if a story can't be created, Storybee now explains why and what to try next. Whether it's a blurry photo, a toy we're not able to feature, a busy moment, or a lost connection, you'll always know your next step, and you're never charged for a story that didn't finish. Storybee 3.4 makes stories easier to read, hear, and find. Narration is more reliable, especially for longer stories and non-English stories. Continued stories with multiple chapters now handle audio chapter-by-chapter, so adding a new chapter preserves the narration you already have in the previous chapters. The story reader is easier for first-time readers: page 1 now shows a subtle swipe hint, and tapping it demonstrates the page-turn motion. For longer page text, the down arrow in the text box now scrolls to the rest of the story. The library now loads your full saved story history instead of stopping after the first 25 stories for Paid accounts. This update also improves purchase and subscription syncing, reader image loading, audio behavior at the end of a story, and recovery when story generation is interrupted.
