Come Play In The Dark! Dark Assault is a retro-inspired arcade defender built around touch and vibration first. There is no classic visual battlefield—no ship sprite, no scrolling starfield of enemies you chase with your eyes. You read the fight through audio cues, strong haptics, and a minimal HUD, then react with touch or tilt. Defend your position against waves of invaders, dodge incoming fire, and chase a new high score as the assault ramps up. Optional training silhouettes help you map cues to positions while you learn. Choose touch or tilt, dial in difficulty, and swap sound themes to match your mood. Designed with accessibility in mind: sensory-first presentation, clear audio feedback, expressive haptics, and flexible controls so more players can enjoy classic arcade tension without relying on a busy screen. Features: Haptic-first combat feedback—feel hits, locks, and waves on supported devices Audio-led gameplay with selectable sound themes HUD-focused playfield (no traditional ship-and-invader graphics) Touch and tilt control options Multiple difficulty modes, including training-friendly pacing High score chasing Optional support purchases for players who want to help fund future updates Dark Assault is easy to start, challenging to master, and built for players who want old-school intensity through sound and feel.

Good game, but needs improvement.

Love the concept of this game! It makes this type of game very accessible to those who are blind or visually impaired. However, I have one critique. I'm a Voiceover user, and when I pause a game between waves, I have NO WAY to get back to the main menu. Similarly, when a game has ended, I have NEITHER a way to get back to the main menu; NOR do I see a Replay button. What I'm saying is: Voiceover users need to be able to go back to the main menu when a game is paused or ended, and they also need to be able to replay a game that has ended. In other words, Voiceover users need to see two additional buttons: a Main Menu button, and a Replay button. Right now, NEITHER of those buttons can be found by Voiceover users. PLEASE fix that in your next update!

- Fixed a bug with the slide controller in screen reader mode - Should only read the slide and fire instructions on the first screen - Tilt control now auto-fires in screen reader mode - Fixed Irregularities on VoiceOver text
