Type rating study companion
$29.99
A330 Prep is the complete study companion for pilots earning or renewing their Airbus A330 type rating. Built by a line pilot who has flown the line and sat the checkride, it pulls everything you need into one focused, offline app — systems knowledge, memory items, limitations, oral prep, simulator flows, an interactive cockpit panel, and hands-free audio study — so you walk into the oral, the sim, and the line ready.
Stop juggling PDFs, flashcard apps, and scattered notes. One app, everything you need, in your pocket.
NINETEEN STUDY MODULES, ONE APP Pick how you want to study today. A330 Prep bundles the tools pilots actually reach for:
• Smart Review — a spaced-repetition system that resurfaces the cards you keep missing • Quick Quiz — random questions across every system • Study by System — drill one system at a time, from Electrical to Flight Laws • Memory Items — immediate-action drills with the exact call-outs and flows • Limitations — 80 aircraft limits and values, drilled to instant recall • Oral Prep — 286 type-rating oral questions organized by system • Checkride Oral Prep — FAA packet recall: limitations, rapid-fire, and systems • Mini Checkride & Mini Checkride 2 — timed exams, 80% to pass • Checkride Mode — a full timed exam simulating checkride conditions • Speed Round — beat the clock for rapid recall • Flashcards — swipe through every system • Study Guide — FCTM figures and key concepts (flight laws, AP/FD/ATHR, golden rules) • Simulator Training Guide — 27 maneuvers and profiles with full PF/PM flows • Checkride Simulator Session — fly your real checkride profile end to end: session briefing, fillable V-speeds, tap-to-open airport and approach plates, and a 28-step guided player to chair-fly or run in a home sim • Task Sharing — CM1/CM2 and PF/PM actions plus 22 standard call-outs • Operating Experience (OE) — phase-by-phase prep for line flying with a Check Airman • Cockpit Panel — an interactive A330 flight deck; tap any switch to learn what it does
STUDY HANDS-FREE WITH PODCAST MODE Turn commute and gym time into study time. Podcast Mode reads each question and answer aloud and keeps playing with the screen locked, using your lock-screen media controls. • Mini Checkride podcasts read the full Q&A pool aloud • Task Sharing podcast narrates every phase from exterior inspection to securing the aircraft • Abnormal Procedures podcast walks you through emergencies like the V1 cut, as it happens
OVER 1,000 QUESTIONS Carefully written multiple-choice and oral questions spanning 20+ system categories — Electrical, Hydraulic, Flight Controls, Flight Laws, Fuel, Engine Controls, APU, Pneumatic, Fire Protection, Ice & Rain, Oxygen, and more — each with a clear explanation so you understand the "why," not just the answer. Tap any acronym for an instant definition.
STAY MOTIVATED Level up from Cadet to Captain as you earn XP, build a daily streak, and track your accuracy by system so you always know your weak spots.
DESIGNED FOR PILOTS • Works fully offline — study anywhere, including at altitude • No account, no sign-up • No ads, no subscriptions • Customize your home screen — turn any module on or off
Whether it's your initial type rating, a return to line flying, or recurrent training, A330 Prep keeps you sharp on the systems, limits, and flows that matter.
Note: A330 Prep is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbus or any airline. Always defer to your official FCOM, FCTM, and company procedures.
