WHAT YOU CAN LOG
Feeding (left and right nursing, pumping, bottle), sleep, diapers, temperature, meals and solids, height and weight, medication, doctor visits, allergies, milestones, crying, baths, outings, symptoms and baby massage.
Parents get a log of their own too: pumping, weight, mood, and how recovery is going.
Children with complex medical needs have dedicated entries for seizures, growth-hormone injections, muscle tone and therapy.
It starts before birth. A contraction timer and a digital version of Japan's Maternal and Child Health Handbook are built in.
Vaccination records and growth charts are included; the charts plot against Japan's 2023 national infant growth survey (Children and Families Agency), adapted for the app.
WHAT MAKES MEMORI DIFFERENT
- Predicting the next feed or nap, and spotting patterns, happens on your iPhone with Apple's Core ML.
- Cry detection is on-device as well. Audio is never stored and never uploaded. All that is kept is the time crying started and stopped.
- Reading colour, amount and consistency from a diaper photo also runs on the device.
- On the Ultra plan, posts, comments, the album and more are currently end-to-end encrypted. The keys live on your family's devices, so we cannot open them on our servers. Care logs, growth records and the health handbook are held on our servers under keys we manage.
- Sharing anything with research is opt-in, and only for Partner Ultra subscribers who consent. Consent is written to an append-only ledger and can be withdrawn at any time.
- No ads, on any plan.
SHARING WITH FAMILY
Only the people you invite. There is no public timeline, no user search, and no way for a stranger to find you. Grandparents and friends come in through a QR code or an invitation link.
FROM A BROWSER
Open memori.baby on a computer or tablet and enter the three-word pairing code shown in the iPhone app's settings. You get the timeline, the album, search and statistics, and you can export a diary book for any month as a PDF. Care logs are written from the iPhone. You can also import data exported from the parenting app you were using before.
PLANS
The recording itself is free, all of it. A paid plan (Partner Ultra or Ultra) adds six things:
- More AI searches, and AI answers grounded in your own records
- AI predictions (next feeding, sleep and diaper) plus a Morning Brief and pattern insights every morning
- Hands-free voice logging on iPhone — say it, and it’s recorded
- Creating groups for grandparents and friends (10 members per group on Partner Ultra, 30 on Ultra)
- 4K/60fps video with no length limit
- Member-only articles
Ultra adds end-to-end encryption and no research participation at all. Partner Ultra costs less than Ultra because the subscriber consents to anonymised records being used for medical research, so the price order is not the feature order.
Prices are shown in the app.
Families raising a child with complex medical needs can use Partner Ultra at no charge; filling in the relevant fields on the child's profile turns it on.

A home screen widget shows the most recent entry and a nudge when the next one is likely due.
