Pannier
Your temporary link queue
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
A menu bar queue for links you want to read soon — not someday. Save with a shortcut. Links auto-expire after some time. No folders, no tags, no accounts.
Save any URL with a keyboard shortcut that you want from any app. Pannier captures it from your clipboard, fetches the page title and favicon, and drops it into a clean queue in your menu bar. Click to open in your browser — and it's gone from the queue.
The trick: links expire. After 7 days (or whatever you choose), they disappear. If you haven't read it in a week, you probably won't. No more bookmark graveyards. No more read-later lists you never come back to.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Global keyboard shortcut — save from anywhere
• Auto-fetched titles and favicons
• Auto-expiry: 12 hours, 1 day, 3, 7, 14, 30 days, or never
• Search bar when your queue grows past a few items
• Native macOS popover — no full window app
• Dark mode, Apple silicon, SwiftUI
• Customizable shortcut, launch at login
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No accounts. No sign-in. Your links never leave your Mac — no servers, no analytics, no telemetry. The only network calls Pannier makes are to the pages you save (to fetch titles and favicons).
Free. No subscription. No upsells. Just a menu bar queue with strong opinions.
