Added iPhone Duo support for you bougie queens. Usual round of small bug fixes and cosmetics. You'll barely notice.

Hey, beaus. Pull up a chair. Comments are here. Tap the bubble under a post, say your piece, or reply to someone else's. Your post, your rules. You can delete any comment under it. Use your powers wisely. Comments become available once the post's author has updated beau. Tell your friends. We can't do everything. There's a bell at the top of Home. Loves, reposts, comments, new followers. All the gossip in one place. Swipe to clear, or follow someone back right there. Tap "loved this" on your own post to see exactly who loved it, faces and all. Reposts have counts now, too. For the curious among us. (So, everyone.) Followers and Following got proper lists, with Follow buttons on every row. Revolutionary, we know. Your profile has its own tab now, right where Settings used to be. Main character energy. Settings is the gear on your profile. Also: a new tag for Elliot, one headline per profile, a switch in Settings to turn off automatic posts, a paper plane replacing the message bubble, and the usual nips and tucks to keep her looking her best.

Hey, beaus. More words for more of us. 13 new tags, including lesbian, sapphic, soft butch, high femme, tomboy, questioning, aromantic, and motorcycles. Yes, motorcycles. We're a well-rounded bunch. Dog dad? Dog mom? Dog parent? Six tags now come with options. Tap the little arrow and pick your flavor. We love a family with range. The tag picker now shows the tags most relevant to you first. Everything else is under More options. Nothing's locked away. We're not here to tell you who you are, babe. Also: the usual tiny fixes. You're welcome.

Hey, beaus. Headspaces got dressed. All three headspaces have a new paper-cut icon. Don’t get too attached. Halloween is coming. Ooky spooky. Event pages got a glow up. Look at her all grown up. See a photo that belongs on beau.? Tap Share, pick beau. Done. On Explore, press and hold a face to open their profile. Switch apps and beau. covers itself. Your screen stays private. Under the hood, we gave everything a pretty big makeover. Our sis got good work done. Compliment her. Things should feel smoother, faster, and a little less dramatic. She’s still a diva, so if she acts up, file a bug report. Also: Neighborhood learned some personal space, shelves stopped wandering around, and we fixed the usual tiny things before you had to complain about them.

And I oop. Found a little bug that was causing app crashes at sign up. Embarrassing. Anyway, it’s fixed, along with a few other under the hood things we were pretending not to notice.

Hey, beaus. Headspaces, all at once. You can now be in one, two, or all three headspaces at the same time and see everyone in them together in one feed. Tap the ring up top anytime to change which headspaces you’re in. On Explore, the ring around each face now shows every headspace you share, so you can see where you overlap at a glance. We also made Not For Me clearer. Before anything happens, we’ll tell you exactly what it does. And, as always: fixes, polish, and tiny things we obsessed over so you don’t have to.

Hey, beaus. Meet Neighborhood, a new way to explore people by affinity or location. Smart Sort brings people with more in common closer. Switch to Location to see people arranged by where they are around you. Tap any face for a mini-profile. And yes, Nearby is still here. We just made it round. We’re not square like the other apps. Also in this update: the usual fixes, polish, and tiny things we obsessed over so you don’t have to.

Big update. Sit down. We accidentally made the grid the main character. It was never supposed to be. beau. was always about our community: the people, places, and weird little things that make gay life feel like gay life. So we rebuilt it around that. The feed is here. Post photos, songs, thoughts, and whatever else is living in your head rent free. When something’s so you it hurts, tap same. No likes, no follower counts, and no algorithm with opinions about you. Replies slide into DMs. No comment section, no discourse. Your profile is your page now. Everything you post lives there, like the internet used to be before it got weird. Out Now got easier. Tag where you’re at when you post and your people can come find you. Or don’t. We’re not your mom. Follow the people you like. They’ll know, nobody else will, and there are no counts. Light mode, finally. It follows your phone, or pick a side in Settings. Our logo gets a new outfit every time you open the app. She’s thriving. And now the whole United States is invited. Pull up. This is the new beau.

Mostly bug fixes and some very satisfying cleanup. Messages are faster, badges are less chaotic, NYC boroughs are now selectable, distances are more accurate, and we tightened up a bunch of little things around signup, safety, notifications, and privacy. Nothing flashy. 1.1.8 is quietly getting its life together.

New folks get a proper hello when they walk in. The home screen loads itself now, as it always should have. Sprinkle of fixes on top.

Nothing major, mama. Mostly bug fixes and some onboarding magic.

beau. grows the best way there is: through the people you bring into it. Now you can invite a friend who'd fit right in, and when they join, you both get a free month of beau.plus. Call it a thank-you for helping the community grow. Find your people, and bring a few of your own.

Made some home screen improvements. And a little polish here and there.

Some minor bug fixes

bro, we had to make some performance improvements and fix some bugs. things sould be a little smoother. sorry bout that.

Hey beaus! Since day one we've wanted beau. to be about community. And online community is at its best when it's a catalyst for offline community. Version 1.1.0 is the first big step into that larger vision: real places are now part of beau. Meet Spaces. She's a lot, in a good way. What's new: - Spaces! Actual places, whether it's THE bar, that gay coffee shop, or wherever your people end up. - Every Space shows its events, who's Out Now, favorites, and how popular it's been. Plus a map so you can't get lost. (Trust, I still get lost with GPS. Another story.) - Fun night out? Post your favorite photos to the Space. - Mark your favorite Spaces and they'll show up on your profile. - A mix of local Spaces now lives on your Home tab, and Spaces hosting upcoming events show on the Events tab. - Out Now just got a where. Tag your status with the venue and the rail shows who else is out at same spot. No more "out where??" - Your Out Now status shows on your profile too, so your admirers know where to find you. - Events don't vanish when they end. See who went, say you were there. - The Events tab got a glow-up. Full-width banners, distance on everything. - Events can now repeat, and beau. picks drop weekly. That happy hour at Cocktail Mary? That's a standing appointment now. - Private events stay private. That group thing is not showing up in any public feed. Don't worry. Plus a pile of fixes and polish, because we love you.

Well sis, we're on a constant journey of self-improvement, and this update is proof. First off, we've streamlined onboarding so you can get into the app faster and find your beau. And second, you can now upload a photo directly from your camera, so go ahead and take that selfie, handsome. We also squashed some bugs, including a few photo upload ones. Ugh. Not fun. If your photo uploads kept failing, this update is for you!

Hey beaus! beau. 1.0.9 has had some work done. Sis, she's glowing. Like literally, if you're on iOS 26. We got some real Liquid Glass now. Go stare at it. Onboarding shouldn't be a bumpy ride. Your message threads quit ghosting you (the nerve). Turned down an event and then caught feelings? There's a Rejoin button now, no judgment. Profiles finally spill how far away he is, and if the two of you have only ever swapped photos and never once used your words, you can still drag each other into group chats and events. As you should. Also: roughly one thousand five hundred and twenty three bugs quietly escorted off the premises. Not really. But a lot. Trust. Period.

Hey beaus! beau. 1.0.7 has had some work done. Sis, she's glowing. Like literally, if you're on iOS 26. We got some real Liquid Glass now. Go stare at it. Onboarding stopped clutching its pearls when you tap the name field. Your message threads quit ghosting you (the nerve). Turned down an event and then caught feelings? There's a Rejoin button now, no judgment. Oopsie we found some bugs, but have no fear. We fixed them! No worries, nothing major.
