Every tool sitting in your garage is income waiting to happen. List a drill, a mower, a pressure washer — TOOLHOP suggests a fair daily rate based on your zip code, handles the request flow, and routes payment straight to your bank. Most owners are surprised what their seldom-used gear is worth on a Saturday morning.
DESIGNED FOR NEIGHBORHOODS, NOT MARKETPLACES
Every match is geofenced to a one-mile radius. You meet the person, not a profile. The whole point is that the swap happens between two people who live close enough to plausibly run into each other at the grocery store.

Ratings & Reviews
Ratings and reviews — when a loan wraps up, the borrower and the lender can each leave a star rating and a short note. Over time you can see who in the neighborhood is easy to deal with.
Security deposits — lenders can now set an optional deposit on a tool alongside the daily rate, so the expensive stuff feels safer to lend out.
Neighborhood activity — a new Activity tab in Discover shows what's happening nearby: tools your neighbors just listed, loans getting picked up, and highly rated exchanges.
Map view — switch Discover to Map and tap a pin to see a tool and how far away it is.
Availability calendar — block off the dates a tool is in use, and neighbors will see those days grayed out when they ask to borrow it.
