Taverns now supports 11 interface languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Japanese, French, Polish, Korean, and Turkish. Use your device language automatically, or choose one before signing in or in Settings. Dates, numbers, incoming-call screens, and sharing controls follow your language too.

Get a ping when someone replies to your journal entry, and tap it to jump straight to the replies. Help & feedback now lives right on your profile: send us a bug, an idea or a safety concern without leaving the app. Plus see who reacted, close DMs you're done with, search your settings, use a GIF for your avatar or banner and frame your banner just right, 18+ profile warnings, easier-to-read names, and lots of fixes.

Your calls just got a lock! Voice calls, group calls and voice halls are now end-to-end encrypted when everyone in the call is on the latest Taverns, so only the people in the call can hear them. Tap the lock to see a privacy code you can compare with friends. You can also share photos, videos, files and links straight into Taverns from any app: pick a friend, a group, a hall or your Mind Vault right from the share sheet. Taverns can have video backgrounds and video banners now, and they play right in the app. Plus up to 12 files per message with an easier attachment row, sharper 360 photos you can look around with your phone, group call volume controls are back, and a bunch of crash fixes.

Bigger files, better voice, and a lot of polish! • Send files up to 2 GB each in halls, threads, forum posts, voice-hall chat, DMs and group chats. Large uploads go straight from your phone and keep going in the background. • Set each person's voice volume and stream volume separately (up to 200%). • Screen shares look sharper and show the whole screen instead of a cropped one. Screen shares from a computer now show up in DM and group calls too. • New full-screen stream view, with quick controls for volume and rotation. • Message yourself via Mind Vault: "Me" is pinned at the top of your DMs, a private space for notes, links and files. • Links look much better: posts from X (and fixupx, vxtwitter and friends) show the whole post in chat, with text, photos, videos and likes. Other sites show a large preview picture. • Tidier notifications: one line per conversation or hall with its count, and custom emoji show up properly. • Taverns remember the last hall you were in, and reopening the app takes you back there. • When you change your status, it updates on all your devices right away. • tav.gg links (invites, friend QR codes, QR sign-in) open straight in the app. • Approving a desktop sign-in is now a quick card over your chats. • Swipe to open and close the settings menu. • Smaller fixes: the cursor stays in place when you edit long messages with emoji, hall welcome banners show the hall's own icon, and saved photos and videos always keep their file type.
