SoundRecorder - Remote
Control SoundRecorder remotely
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Control SoundRecorder from iPhone or iPad with local-network transport, metering, channel control, and secure pairing for production recording workflows.
SoundRecorder Remote is the companion app for SoundRecorder on Mac, giving you hands-on control from iPhone or iPad while recording on set, in the studio, or anywhere your Mac is running the main recorder.
Connect over the local network, pair securely with your Mac, and control the recorder without staying at the computer. The remote mirrors the current transport state, timecode, duration, channel meters, track names, and recording status so you can keep an eye on the session from across the room.
Use SoundRecorder Remote to:
Start, split, and stop recordings
View live timecode, duration, and recorder status
Monitor source and mix-channel levels
Arm tracks and adjust supported channel controls
Edit channel names when the host is idle
Filter the channel view for cleaner layouts
Work from responsive iPhone and iPad interfaces
SoundRecorder Remote is designed for production workflows where the Mac handles recording and file writing, while your iOS device stays focused on fast, clear remote control.
Requires SoundRecorder running on a Mac on the same local network.
