A new Today screen, sharper transcription that names people, one recording setting, and fixes for what you reported. • The main screen is now Today: the next meeting with its brief, the follow-ups still open with its people, and your latest summaries. It moves to the new day by itself, and the time tracking it used to lead with is folded at the bottom. • Transcription now uses Parakeet Ultra, which misses fewer words, and a new speaker model that tells voices apart more reliably. Both download in the background the first time this version starts. • In a one-to-one, the other person is named from the invitation. Click a speaker's name in a transcript to rename them, and the analysis now knows who was invited. • Recording is now one setting: record automatically or ask first. To leave out one meeting or a whole series, choose Do not record next to it in Today. • Narada no longer records with your MacBook's lid closed. A recording that's running when you close the lid is stopped and saved. With an external display in use, recording carries on as usual. • Connecting or removing headphones during a call no longer loses the other side of the conversation. • On Macs with 8 GB of memory, on-device summaries now read the whole meeting. Before, a long meeting could be cut short and the summary described things nobody said. • Skipping one meeting of a recurring series no longer skips the rest of the series. • The floating recording window can be dragged again on the latest macOS. • Onboarding first asks what you want after a meeting: the recording and its transcript, free and without a subscription, or a summary as well. Then it shows where summaries are made and how long a one-hour meeting takes: about 3 minutes with Pro AI, 30 to 60 minutes on your Mac. If your Mac would be slow, Narada says so before you choose. • While a meeting is analyzed you see which part it's on, instead of a bar stuck at 92%. • Claude Code, Codex and the ChatGPT app can now search your meetings too. Narada serves them from your Mac, with no Narada server in between. • Optional anonymous usage statistics. New installs are asked once, with neither answer picked for you, and you can change it any time in Settings → General. • Storage settings, the cloud AI consent screen and several messages now appear in every supported language.
