RECORDING • Recording keeps going when your AirPods connect or run out of battery. • You can now see which microphone is recording, and Dictanta tells you when it switches. • Tapped Record by mistake? Recordings under 3 seconds no longer use a free recording. • On iOS 27, the Record tab no longer disappears when you scroll. SUMMARIES • On iOS 27, fixed summaries that left out some action items. This update is all about polish PLAYBACK THAT FITS • The playback controls no longer get cut off on smaller iPhones, at larger text sizes, or in narrow iPad windows. • The waveform always stays big enough to tap, so you can jump straight to a moment. • The 15-second back and forward buttons are now the last thing to go when a window gets narrow, on Mac and iPad. • On the narrowest iPhones, the elapsed-time label now steps aside so the controls fit. Exact times are still shown in the transcript. CLEARER RECORDING FEEDBACK • Tap Record and you'll see "Starting…" right away, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. • During quiet moments, your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch show "Listening…" instead of a stray dot. EASIER TO READ • Timestamps in your recap are clearer and easier to read. • On Mac, hovering over a recap line now highlights it. • On iPhone, search results now highlight the matching words and show when they were said. BETTER ON iPad • Your recap is now visible in any orientation, and pointing at a recap line lets you hear that moment. Plus many smaller layout and wording fixes across iPhone, iPad and Mac. • See where you are. The player now shows the current time and the total length of the recording. • A cleaner view. The transcript no longer shows through the playback controls at the bottom of the screen. • Know before you run out. On the Free plan you can now see how many recordings you have left in Settings — and on iPhone, right on the Record screen — instead of finding out when you reach the limit. • Better on iPad in portrait. Your summary now sits above the transcript, so you can read both comfortably. • Easier to tap. The Assign button on an action item now responds anywhere on the button. • Easier to read. Error messages and several small buttons — including play, Import, and iPad's Stop button — now have stronger contrast in Light Mode. • Kinder to large text. Recording titles no longer get cut off when you use larger text, and recording lengths and due dates stay on one line instead of breaking apart.

• On a long meeting, the summary now tells you it's still writing, instead of looking stuck. • A to-do with nobody's name on it now has an "Assign" button, so you can add the owner before you send your notes on. • An action item you've fixed yourself is marked "edited by you". • Search results and your library now show when a recording was made, instead of a vague "2 weeks ago". • The player no longer covers the line you're reading.

Your recap, ready when you are — plus a smarter, sturdier Dictanta. • Your recap writes itself. Stop recording, and Dictanta starts summarizing on its own with Apple Intelligence — key points, action items, decisions. When it's done, tap "View meeting notes" and it's right there. • Share a clean recap. Send just the summary by email or message — easy to read, no transcript attached. Want the full transcript too? Choose "Export with Transcript." • Fix action items in seconds. Touch and hold an item and choose "Edit Item" to correct who owns it or when it's due. • Stop from your Lock Screen. One tap on the banner's stop button ends the meeting — no need to unlock your phone. • Find anything fast. The new Search tab looks through every title, transcript, and summary. • Smoother everywhere. Long transcripts scroll fluidly, even while audio plays — and you can skip back or ahead 15 seconds. • Never lose a meeting. If a recording is ever interrupted, Dictanta keeps everything up to the final moments and marks it "Recovered" in your library. As always, everything is transcribed and summarized right on your device — your audio never leaves it.
