• Measuring by walking is far more accurate on small plots: points are recorded every few feet, and the spot where you tap Stop becomes the last corner. Long walks no longer stop at 300 points. • Short distances now show in feet instead of "0.01 mi". New square-feet unit; acres are the default area unit. • New Perimeter line for shapes with 3 or more points: on screen, in the share image, the saved list and the CSV export. • A warning when the outline crosses itself, which makes the area wrong. • Clearing a walk or a shape now asks first, and you're offered to save a walk when you stop. • "Rate Distance Map" and "Contact support" in the tools menu.

• Measure by walking keeps recording when your screen locks, handles large fields (up to 300 points) and asks whether to start fresh or add to your current shape. • The map stays where you zoomed: adding a point no longer jumps out to a kilometer-wide view. • Opens at your location (or your country) in satellite view, with a blue dot and a "Show my location" button. • Auto-trace (Beta) no longer spills into neighboring fields, and you can cancel it or undo a trace. • Fixed permission prompts that showed placeholder text. • Saved measurements are protected against damaged files.

Two things that used to be Premium are now free, and there are four new tools. NOW FREE • MILES. The app opens in your country's units — miles in the US and UK, kilometers elsewhere — and remembers your choice. Nautical miles stay in Premium. • SATELLITE AND HYBRID MAPS. You cannot trace a lot line, a roof edge or a field boundary on a road map, so satellite view is now part of the free app. NEW • SAVED MEASUREMENTS (free). Keep a measurement, give it a name and reopen it whenever you need it. • A POINT AT YOUR LOCATION (free). Drop a measurement point exactly where you are standing. • MEASURE BY WALKING (Premium). Walk the edge of a field and points drop automatically as you go. • AUTO-TRACE FROM SATELLITE (Premium). Tap inside a roof, pool or field and the outline is drawn for you. It works best on flat, evenly coloured surfaces, and every point stays editable afterwards. • EXPORT AS KML, GPX OR CSV (Premium). Take your measurement into Google Earth, a GPS device or a spreadsheet. Also fixed: your distance unit was reset to kilometers on every launch, even if you owned Premium. It is saved now.

Measuring is now much faster: • Just tap the map to drop a point — you no longer have to press "Add" before every single one • A new undo button removes the last point you placed, so a mistap takes one tap to fix • The on-screen hint now stays until you place your first point, instead of disappearing after a few seconds • Clearer subscription details on the Premium screen • Fixed the rating prompt appearing on top of the Premium screen Note: since version 1.2, area measurement and measuring with 3 or more points are Premium features. Distance between 2 points is still free.

What changed in the free version — please read before updating: • Area measurement (m², km², hectares, acres and dönüm) has moved to Premium. Version 1.1 offered it for free; that is no longer the case. • Free measuring now covers the straight-line distance between 2 points, in kilometers and meters, on the standard map. Address and place search stays free too. • Measuring with 3 or more points — and every area result — requires Premium. • If you already own Premium or Lifetime, nothing changes for you: all points, all area units, satellite and hybrid maps and image sharing stay exactly as they were. Also in this update: • The Premium screen now opens at the moment it is actually needed, with the right plan already selected • Fixed the "Add" button being hard to see on some screens • Bug fixes and stability improvements

• Area measurement is now free, with dönüm, hectare and acre units • Measure with up to 4 points for free • Share your measurement as an image (Premium) • Interstitial ads removed • Bug fixes and stability improvements
