NEW: One home, every ecosystem The Home Hub is now one dashboard for HomeKit, Google Home, and SmartThings together. Every device, grouped by room, with a real product photo, an ecosystem badge, live status, and favorites you can drag to reorder. NEW: Google Home is built in Google Home joins SmartThings as a native integration, running on device through Google's own Home SDK. Connect it and your Google devices show up across the app with their rooms and live online status. NEW: One list, no duplicates A device linked through more than one platform now shows once, under the ecosystem it actually lives on. The duplicates merge on their own. On my own home that collapsed 156 Google devices and 151 HomeKit-bridged ones down to the real uniques. NEW: Organize Devices When the auto-match misses, you decide. Compare a device's likely twins across all three platforms, pick which one it lives under, hide the rest, or restore anything you hid. Settings, Integrations, Organize Devices. NEW: Live metrics and device states The hub reads your HomeKit sensors live: average temperature, humidity, and air quality, plus the state of each device right on its tile (open or closed, locked, light on at 60 percent, thermostat cooling to 72). A weather reading sits up top. IMPROVED: Toolbox tab Network Tools is now Toolbox, with a clean Free and Premium split. The six free diagnostic tools stay front and center. IMPROVED: Honest privacy page New Google Home and SmartThings sections spell out what each one reads and why, with wording that matches exactly what the app does. UNDER THE HOOD One shared cross-ecosystem engine behind the hub and the organizer, faster HomeKit load from cache, and a full copy pass.

NEW: SmartThings, integrated everywhere Your synced SmartThings devices now show up across the app with real product images, the right room, and live online status: a new Integrations tab in the Network scanner, plus Device Stats, the battery view, and Room Planner. Tap any device for full detail. NEW: Protocol Breakdown sees more Added Bluetooth scanning and explicit Matter detection. Devices are now mapped across HomeKit, Thread, Wi-Fi, Matter, and Bluetooth, each with its own badge. NEW: Set your active home hub Touch and hold a hub in Hub Software to mark it active. NEW: Track warranty and lifespan From any SmartThings appliance, jump to the lifespan and warranty tracker with the model, room, and name already filled in. IMPROVED: Home Health Tap any issue, offline device, or recent event to open the exact device it refers to. There is a full event history, the score-ring color is consistent across the app, and it no longer re-scans every time you return to the tab. IMPROVED: Numbers that add up The device total, the breakdown, and the online/offline pill all match now. Devices on multiple protocols (like Matter) are no longer double-counted. IMPROVED: Real product photos Device detail, Room Planner, and lists show real product photos with a clean manufacturer-logo fallback. Washer, dryer, and oven images are fixed, and the correlation engine no longer mismatches hubs, so HomePods, Sonos, and Nest sensors stay separate. IMPROVED: Clearer wording "Network Intelligence" is named consistently, offline alerts say "device" now that SmartThings is included, and several headers read better. FIXED Eve Weather lists the correct battery (CR2450) with the right replacement link. Room Planner no longer shows the wrong logo for Level devices, and per-type filter counts are accurate. Device Layers no longer duplicates SmartThings rows. UNDER THE HOOD Refreshed tab icons, unified status colors into the brand palette, and a top-to-bottom copy cleanup.

A new in-app walkthrough added in this version makes that clear from the start. NEW: iOS 26 LIQUID GLASS The ecosystem status card, Home Watch overview, and quick-action buttons have all been updated with iOS 26's Liquid Glass design. If you're on iOS 26, you'll notice it the moment you open the app. NEW: ISP STATUS MONITORING Home Watch now shows live status for 10 major US internet providers: Xfinity, AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum, Cox, T-Mobile Home Internet, Frontier, Optimum, Google Fiber, and CenturyLink/Quantum Fiber. Status refreshes every 5 minutes. Tap any provider to open their outage page. Turn on per-provider notifications in Settings → Notifications → ISP Alerts. One notification when a provider goes down, one when it recovers. FIXED Home Health was showing two health scores that sometimes contradicted each other. The secondary score is gone. The main score is the one that matters. Tapping a product could cause the detail screen to flash open and immediately close. Fixed. Spectrum and Cox were stuck on "Checking..." in Home Watch. Fixed. Prices shown during onboarding were wrong. Fixed. IMPROVED Scrolling through event history in Home Watch is significantly faster, especially on older devices.

2.3: HOME HUB "Your Home" tab renamed to Home Hub. Multi-home support: if your Apple account has multiple homes, the HomeKit section now separates them with filter chips instead of mixing everything into one list. THREAD VISUALIZER Fixed a multi-home bug: end devices were being pulled from whichever Apple Home the OS returned first, which could be a completely different location. Home picker added — switching is instant, no rescan needed. Eve HKSV cameras, Aqara video doorbells, and Meross garage openers were incorrectly flagged as Thread end devices. Detection was matching on manufacturer name without checking the HomeKit accessory category. Fixed. Thread Map moved to the top of the screen — it was buried below the border router list. Added a note under Thread version numbers: what's shown is what each device advertises over mDNS, not a verified firmware check. MATTER Fixed hex vendor ID parsing — some devices broadcast IDs in 0x117C format and were falling through to "Matter Device." Vendor table: 21 to 34 entries. Device type table: 15 to 22. mDNS instance name used as a last-resort fallback. NETWORK SCAN Rename any device in scan results. Tap a device, go to Label, set a custom name. Persists across sessions. A pencil badge shows on the card when a name has been set. Scan language toned down: "COMPLETE YOUR SETUP" is now "COMPATIBLE PRODUCTS." "BEST VALUE" badge is "BUNDLE." DATA & PRIVACY (new in 2.3) New page in Settings with a full breakdown of what the app reads, why, and what it never touches — no camera access, no location, no automations. Optional opt-in for anonymous device fingerprints: a one-way hash of device type and manufacturer only. Off by default. No hostname, IP, MAC, or room name is ever included. DIAGNOSTICS (new in 2.3) Settings > Generate Diagnostics now includes HomeKit topology, Home Watch state, Pair Vault count, quiet hours config, and more.
