Group rides now show who's really leading: when an ambassador or co-host runs the ride, their name is at the top. See who's in your group and who you've ridden with, find riders by name to add as mates, and bring your mates along with one tap after you post or join a ride. Plus a cleaner ride page.

Fixes for ride hosts: clearing How to find us or what3words when you edit a ride now saves, Duplicate keeps your ride's photo, a new group ride starts with your own last waiver, and when you post for a group you can untick I'm going if someone else is leading.

- Share the GPX from a finished ride, and hosts can add the route they rode - Delete a draft you don't need - Links, bold and bullet points in ride descriptions - From the Time to leave reminder, go out on Active now at the ride's start, from the meeting point - Tidier Who made it? lists

Give something back to the trails you ride. - Dig days: post a trail-building session, who it's with and the tools. Tick that the landowner or trail group has agreed, and riders join like any ride - Posting a ride now says who can see it: everyone, or your group's members - New groups start as Opening soon. Riders tap Notify me, and you open the group when you're ready - A new group poster, with your About and a big code to scan - Choose how your group's cover photo fits: Fill, Blur or Plain

Built with SheRides Collective and other UK riding groups. - Opening soon: set your group up before the first rides, then let everyone in with one tap - Women's and men's groups and rides - Check-in on the day: tick who's here, or riders scan the ride's code. Count walk-ups too - Pinned ride updates, so changes don't get lost in the chat - Co-hosts, drafts, and start a new ride from a past one - More than one discipline on a ride, so MTB and e-bikes both know they're welcome - Routes on rides with GPX, with the start and finish kept private - Your Plus1 code: scan to add a riding mate - After the ride: thank who came, and give feedback if you want to - Activity in your Inbox, your next ride at the top, and trail closures that last - Choose who sees you're out: Everyone, Mates or Just me - Rides saved for when there's no signal - A simpler Apple Watch app: going out and chat

What's new in Plus1 1.12.2: - Ride photos now look exactly as you took them - Sharing a ride with photos makes a black and white photo montage - Real names: we now ask for your surname, and only its first letter is ever shown - Add a photo of you so riders know who they're meeting - Riders' names show the same way in chat - Lots of small fixes

What's new in Plus1 1.12: - Invite riders to your group, and find any group in the UK - Like a message in chat - Riders' photos next to their comments - Beginners welcome and No-drop tags, so you can pick a ride that suits you - Ask the host a question before you join - A quick "Still in?" the day before a ride - Choose your riding area so you hear about rides near you - Men-only and members-only rides - Run a group? See how it works for guides in Settings - Faster scrolling, an Events tick box, and lots of small fixes

Groups that host social rides: host terms, ride hosts and more areas. Add an emergency contact for group rides, choose Keep me posted, or ask not to be in photos. Say Maybe and ask questions before you join. A women-only filter, and your group's next rides after you ride. Add your photo in Settings: group leaders need one. Fixes and a faster group page.

Groups. Find your club, shop or regular crew, join its page, and see its rides and updates in one place. Run a group? Set it up in a minute, post updates with photos, make your weekly ride repeat, and share it to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp with a clean card. Every new group is checked by us before it goes live. Secret spots. Found something fresh, loamy or brand new? Pin it exactly where you stand, for riders nearby or just your mates. Spots fade after four months unless riders keep them alive. Smarter pop-ups. Good-weather ideas now follow where you are, tell you why (the forecast, the ground, what riders are saying), and point you at a ride that's already on rather than starting another. Apple Watch. Go out from your wrist, see riders and the meeting point on a compass, and reply without your phone. Rides land in Fitness. Also: a short tour for new riders, quick post (write it like a Facebook post and the form fills itself), waiting lists, and updated terms.

Good week to ride? The forecast's best riding windows near you sit at the top of Upcoming. Tap Keen; when three riders are keen it becomes a pop-up, with you in it. Find a rider. Search by name in Inbox for riders you've shared a ride with or who ride near you, and add them as a mate. New riders get three quick cards on first sign-in. Garage now reminds you the day before a ride if something's due. Plus a round of fixes.

Names you can tell apart. Riders now show as first name and surname initial, like Chris M. Add your surname from the card at the top of Upcoming or in Settings. It is never shown in full. How was the ride? After a ride you were on, a quick card asks how it went. There is a Send feedback box in Settings too, and every message goes straight to Moss. Sign in with Apple now keeps your name, so new riders no longer show as a random string. Terms of use updated for the 1.7 features.

Garage: pick your bike and Plus1 knows what's on it. Keep your miles up to date and it tells you when the chain, pads, tyres and suspension are due, before they cost you a ride. Near you: while you're out on Active now, see how the trails are riding today, the café for after and the nearest bike shop, all within about 5 km. Epic trails: found one running perfectly? Call it epic and riders out nearby see it for four months. Been there: colour in the riding areas you've explored across the UK, then go and find the next one. Opt in from Active now. Pop-up rides: when the forecast's good, a ride pops up near you. Three in and someone steps up to host. Active now now keeps your rough square up to date while your phone's in your pocket. Still about a square kilometre, never your exact position, and it stops when you tap I'm done.

Events around the Forest now appear in Upcoming as compact rows you can toggle off, and you can say you're going to one. Location filters are now riding areas worked out from the ride's pin, so one car park is one filter instead of three spellings. After a ride, a friendly roll call asks who made it and lets you say thanks. Hosts who repeatedly don't turn up get a pause on hosting. On a ride: tap the date to add it to your calendar, the address to open maps, the host to message them, and the three words for what3words. Fixed: tapping a ride could open a different one, and Downhill rides could not be posted.

bug fixes

Active now got a proper explainer, and it now holds up on poor signal — going out retries instead of silently failing, and a stale rider list tells you it's stale. Share a ride as a card with a QR code. Ride links open straight to the ride. Riding mates — mutual, approved both ways. And you can now report a rider, not just block them. Every ride now needs a pin, so nobody's guessing where to meet. Password reset by emailed code.
