What's New
This update makes reviewing images feel like a real canvas, and lets you make Sketch Over feel like yours.
- Drop an image onto the toolbar or the Dock icon to open it in a lightweight review window.
- See the file's name, type, size, dimensions, color profile and transparency at a glance.
- Discover the dominant colors of any image in a new Colors card.
- Hold Space and drag to pan around the image, hold Cmd and scroll to zoom in and out.
- Zoom, rotate, and export as PNG or JPEG at full resolution.
- New Settings > Appearance section — pick the app's accent color, yellow or blue.
- Softer, calmer toolbar: quieter dividers between tool groups, one unnecessary line removed.
- New Export button in the toolbar, next to the shortcut you already had (Shift-Cmd-E).
- The color picker now has its own shortcut, Option-5, and the other tool shortcuts have been reorganized to make room for it. Arrow is now Option-A.
- The toolbar no longer includes the Undo and Opacity buttons — Undo still works with Cmd-Z.
- If exporting, launching at login, or taking a screenshot ever fails, you now get a clear message instead of nothing.
- The screen recording permission message now appears in your own language.
- Settings redesigned with warmer, softer cards instead of stark white panels.
- The Coffee screen is now simply a way to say hi — its button opens an email to the developer, and Sketch Over no longer includes any in-app purchase.
