Know the match before it kicks off. Every match day opens with a preview of the day's game, a countdown to kickoff, who's favoured, how both teams got here and the players most likely to decide it. Same-day heads-up so you're never caught off guard. Live on your lock screen. The day's knockout match runs as a Live Activity, so the score and the minute are there without opening the app. Plus: live match minute on the card and lock screen, a "Coming up" card so your feed always knows what's next, friendlier onboarding, and faster switching between the teams you follow.

Glance down, know where the game's at, and text him at exactly the right moment. No need to open the app. Goal, half-time and full-time alerts We'll tap you on the shoulder when his team scores, at the break, and at the final whistle, with a quick line on what just happened and whether it's a good moment to message him.
