New hunters can pick up the Hunter's Starter Kit once: 500 Ectoplasm and a sealed chest. A ghost's card now reads correctly in Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Purchases and restores sync more reliably. Plus stability fixes.

Short on Ectoplasm? Whatever you were buying now offers the smallest pack that covers it, then finishes the purchase as soon as it lands. Trick or Treat: if your bowl is stolen again after you stole it back, you can steal it back again. Notices stay on the map instead of popping up each time you open the Collection. Plus stability fixes.

Gift chests now show which ghost gave them. Tap the name to see that ghost. Ghost chats: retrying a reply that failed no longer sends your message twice, and a ghost that got stuck repeating itself now answers. New installs start faster. The first update is a much smaller download, and the app waits no more than 12 seconds for it. Plus stability fixes.

Lost Relics are open to every player. A ghost you know asks you to find something it lost, and a circle on the map marks where to look. The circle tightens as you get closer, and the dig site appears once you're inside the smallest one. Ghost chats: after a couple of short answers, your ghost stops asking questions and tells you what it thinks. Offerings get a real reply. Zoomed out, ghost dots sit on the ground again, and Show on map no longer reloads the map. Switching to an account that has no hunt now says so and offers to attach it to this one.

Polish for iPhone Duo and iPad. A sheet you open in landscape now stays a side panel when you turn the screen, and opens that way again after you close it in portrait. On iPhone Duo, a panel's buttons no longer sit under the status bar.

Built for iPhone Duo. Open it and apparish fills the big screen, with a ghost's photo on one side of the fold and its story on the other. Prop it half open and sheets rest below the fold while the map stays up top. iPad gets the same care. Spirit pages and the Journal use both halves in landscape, and Sightings runs two to a row. Notices with something to do now carry a button you can tap right there. A new opening scene that fills every screen. Fixes: the map no longer buzzes over and over at the edge of a spirit's range, a ghost announces a new bond level once instead of all day, and expired haunts get their own card.

Daily Tarot is played at a table now. Three cards go face down on a reading cloth by candlelight, you pick one, and its name and reward are printed on the face. Your ghosts remember what you tell them. They ask about your day and match how you talk, and the first one you catch guides you through your first hours. The Inbox is one feed with a Waiting on you shelf at the top. Walks you take with the app closed now count toward your chests. apparish is laid out for iPad: the whole spirit photo beside its story, bigger map controls, and the tab bar at the bottom where your thumbs are. New Field Gear: the Grave Bell calls one spirit into reach every 90 seconds. Music and podcasts keep playing when you open the app, and the map shows the ghosts nearest to you first.

Eighteen new ghost tours: Albuquerque, Asheville, Baltimore, Cape May, Dallas, Deadwood, Denver, Grand Rapids, Guthrie, Honolulu, Kansas City, Marietta, Providence, Sacramento, Saint Paul, San Antonio, San Diego and Williamsburg. A tour offers the catch at every stop and brings you back to the route afterwards. Your first ghost's chat is a conversation now. It tells you what the Sanctuary is and asks you for a room, and the moment you leave the chat you're on the map with the whole app open. Rifts are vortexes of smoke on the map, wild until a Keeper holds them, with new clips for rifts, raids and Keeper duels. When another hunter takes a contested spirit first, the app tells you who got there. Sightings has a Top today strip and emoji reactions, and tapping a photo opens that spirit's story. The Me tab shows your face in a level ring, and every XP and ecto gain flies into it. A fresh install picks up the latest fixes before your first ghost. The app no longer quits when the iPhone's audio engine refuses to start, raid replays play faster, and the Waystone pull is within a thumb's reach.

Masquerade Night: in October every ghost on the map wears a mask from 8pm to 1am. A ghost you already unmasked says so before you catch it again, and a masked bounty is caught through its keeper's portrait, never a new photo. Apparish now speaks your language everywhere: minigame names, chests, Sanctuary rooms and messages. Text stays readable when your phone's text size is set large. The app asks for your microphone only when you first record a voice message or start a call. Smoother and smaller on Android, and a crash during the ghost reveal is fixed.

A Month of Tricks: masked ghosts, stolen candy, egged doors. Every ghost wears a mask after dark. Some hand over candy. Some pick your pocket and run. Haunted Walking Tours: ghost stories in your city, told by a ghost. Turn by turn to every stop. Your own ghost tells you what this street remembers. New players meet their first spirit sooner: the app shows you the ghost, tells you the next step, and walks you through settling it into your Sanctuary. Levels follow a new curve, so a first capture no longer jumps you to level 5. Your level may read lower than before. Every point you earned is kept. The spirit reveal now plays in full before badges and level cards appear, and Spanish players see the threat scan and spirit types in Spanish.

Sightings now folds a hunter's run of catches into one card with a single thread. Open a run to see every catch, hide one catch or the whole run, or keep a run private in one tap. Your starter spirit texts you back the same day, a few hours after you leave, so the conversation keeps going. Spirits speak cleanly by default for new accounts. You can turn colorful language on in settings, and report any spirit reply straight from the chat. In-app notifications now live in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones, with the card growing into its preview and native swipe gestures. Prestige is open to everyone: fill all 300 Pro slots and retire the collection into Memories for a permanent badge and hat. Bounty pushes and the map pill now use a radius that fits how many spirits are around you, waystones got a polish pass, and the run privacy dialog no longer shows blank text.

Pro collections now hold 300 spirits. Tarot rotates through five decks on new rounded cards. On the Sightings feed, swipe a card to see the portrait and tap to read the whole story. Expedition returns are a surprise again. The dispatch sheet no longer spoils what your spirits bring back. When more than one chest is ready, a single prompt at launch opens them all. Also fixed: level up, badge and chapter reveals wait until the reward screen closes, Sanctuary spirits move by tapping the highlighted room, waystone notices are easier to read, and a waystone's reward now lands the moment its notice pays out.

Waystones are on the map. Walk up to one near you for ecto, offerings, chest progress, or a piece of Sanctuary decor. Your first ghost now asks for its offering right away, and one button takes you from that gift to your Sanctuary and then to choosing an Order. No more guessing what to type next. In the Sanctuary, arrange spirits into rooms from a single sheet and build the new Séance Parlor, Archive and Containment Lab. Spirits back from an expedition start earning and guarding the moment they land. Ghost Notes has a new song, Cathedral Bell Tower. Minigames respond more to your touch, and the tarot spread changes every day. Ghost markers no longer pile on top of each other when you zoom out, and Sanctuary tips now only appear in the Sanctuary.

Sightings now has conversations, saved posts, and a feed of hunters you follow. Your new Inbox gathers spirit messages and Sanctuary reports, with unread updates first. Your first wild catch of the day earns bonus Ecto. Lucky catches can pay extra. Sanctuary rooms have richer lighting and better customizations, plus new Field Assignments for furnishing and upgrades. Minigames now show progress toward the goal, with clearer scoring and instructions.

Full collection, faster choices Catch a spirit while your collection is full and you now land in one sheet: your whole lineup, with the new catch pinned on top. Release any spirit to make room, or upgrade to Pro right there. Know what broke in When something gets into your Sanctuary, the report now says where it came from: a rival hunter's haunt, named, or a stray that wandered in on its own. Steadier catches Fixed a rare error that could throw out a capture at the final step. Ghost chat that answers Replies that used to stall now come back quickly, every time.

More control over Sightings Photos from your captures appear in Sightings. You can now hide any of your posts, which also removes that catch from your public profile, or turn off your participation in Sightings entirely from Account settings. Better chest rewards Walking pays off more. Chest rewards have been increased across every tier, with chances for 2x and 4x payouts. Rarer chests are also more likely to contain spirits and charms. Cleaner spirit pages Spirit pages and collection cards now have a simpler layout. Share and Favorite stay front and center, while actions like narration, saving photos, hiding from Sightings, and releasing a spirit live under the ⋯ menu. Uncover a ghost’s story Ask a ghost how it died and you can discover a new piece of its story each day you return. Content controls Ghosts can use strong language by default. Prefer a cleaner experience? You can turn it off anytime under Account → Content & Safety.

Everyone starts with a Sanctuary now. Your spirits have a home from your first catch, and other hunters can come haunt it from day one. Win the minigame and the spirit is yours. No extra tap to collect. When your collection is full, you see the upgrade instead of losing the catch. Field Assignments: three daily tasks in your away deck, tiered by how likely you are to finish them today. Expeditions show their open slots at a glance, and a roster sheet lists who's out. Returned crews land in your notification stack with what they found. Minigame scores read as a completion percentage, with one tick marking the score to beat. A spirit's late-night messages are written from what's actually true tonight: the hour, the weather, where they are.

Spirits come home from Sanctuary expeditions with a story. Claim the haul and read what they got up to, in their own words, right in their chat thread. Ghost chat has a sense of place now. A spirit in your Sanctuary knows which room it's in and who it's sharing it with. Sightings shows how a catch ended. A post carries a Released or Escaped tag when the spirit didn't stay, and a like fills in the "Liked by" row the moment you tap. Haunting someone's Sanctuary? Leaving the minigame asks first now. If you do leave, your stake comes straight back and the Leagues board opens up again instead of showing no one to haunt for ten minutes. The map holds up better: a brand-new area fills in on the first look instead of trickling in, no more blackouts when zoomed out, no frozen animations on iOS 27, and ghosts keep rendering when things get busy. Minigame fixes: Phantom Maze no longer stutters or freezes, and Haunted Spire loads fully before play and its books stop snapping.
