Missed us? And although we’re a little late, happy Kyrgyz Language Day! We hope Kyrgyz keeps being heard more often — at home, with friends, online, and in everyday life. We’ve been working on this update for quite a while, and we’re really happy to finally share it with you. We want learning Kyrgyz to feel different every day — through stories, music, games, and the simple habit of coming back and learning a little more. Söz now has five interactive stories where your choices shape the conversation and can lead to different endings. Two stories are available for free, while three more are included with Söz Pro. We’ve also added “Songs in Kyrgyz” — 32 song breakdowns with useful vocabulary and short exercises. An internet connection is required to play music clips. And there’s a new free game: “Ilbirstin sapary.” Join our snow leopard on a journey through mountain trails, collect Kyrgyz words along the way, and practice the ones you miss. An internet connection is required to play. We’ve also completely redesigned streaks and rewards. The more consistently you learn Kyrgyz, the better the rewards you can unlock. Along with achievements inside Söz, longer streaks can now earn you real perks from our partners, Elis & Melis and Tanbas. So your streak is no longer just a number on your profile. It’s one more reason to keep your Kyrgyz going today. We also updated the Overview, Collections, Profile, Rewards, and widgets, improved reminders, and fixed lots of little things along the way. You can now hear Kyrgyz words in a new female voice, Akylai. Choose your voice in Profile: Customize → Pronunciation voice. Practice also feels more responsive with short sounds for correct answers and completed exercises. You can turn them off in Settings at any time. We also corrected vocabulary and pronunciation issues, improved search-result navigation, and made daily quests count targeted practice more accurately. Көрүшкөнчө!

Hi! Barsik here For Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day, I gathered 35 meaningful words, a quiz, and greeting cards to share with the people you love. And for the World Nomad Games, I made a new “What kind of nomad are you?” quiz, discover your character and save a beautiful result card. I also made the learning feed more attentive to your interests, added fresh grammar and reading questions, corrected pronunciation and translations, and chased a few pesky bugs out of the app. Come by! Inside, you can explore the Games schedule, discover all 39 disciplines, and learn useful Kyrgyz words and phrases to help you enjoy the event even more. I also did a little housekeeping: • fixed several Kyrgyz proverbs and improved their translations; • added a clear analytics choice — nothing is sent without your permission; • made Söz more stable and fixed a few small bugs. Two new collections have arrived in Söz: “Believe in the Team” — about football, support, and courage. “The Long Road Home” — about the sea, challenges, and finding your way back to where you belong. You asked, we added it You can now learn through English while reading Kyrgyz in Cyrillic. Or choose Latin with any other interface language. The setting is in Profile → Settings. It only changes how words appear. Your progress and reviews will stay right where they are. Meet the new “A Web Over Bishkek” collection It includes 42 words about a city hero, secrets, courage, choices and responsibility. We added verbs of movement, useful nouns and expressions, so you can discuss the new film and share your thoughts in Kyrgyz after the premiere. The collection is available to everyone.
