Use the "System Voice" engine — it requires NO account or credentials and is sufficient to verify the full core experience. 3. Adjust speed/pitch, set a sleep timer, and verify sentence-by-sentence read-along highlighting. 4. Test play / pause / previous / next from the Lock Screen and Control Center. 5. Switch to another app or lock the screen — narration should continue normally. (Note: High-quality cloud voices require the user to enter their own third-party Microsoft Azure API Key and region. This is a bring-your-own-credentials model; the app does not bundle or resell this service. Please contact us for test credentials if you need to review this path.) [New: Auto-Read] 1. Open a large EPUB or TXT file and, while the "Paginating…" indicator is shown at the bottom, immediately try to scroll and turn pages — it should stay smooth and no longer freeze. 2. After toggling the HUD on/off in Reading Settings, the reading view should refresh immediately. 3. TXT chapter detection should be more accurate and should no longer misidentify the first paragraph as a chapter heading.
