You no longer need to sign in with Apple to join the leaderboard. Just pick a nickname. • The scan screen now fits in landscape and on iPhone Duo when fully open. • Other small improvements.

Made for iPhone Duo • Set it half-open on a desk: the upper screen becomes the clock, the lower screen the pad for your hands. • During a Real Advice challenge, the cube sits on top and big Next Move and Back buttons fill the bottom, so you can step through while holding your cube.

New: Real Timer Time your real-cube solves the way a competition timer works. Place both hands on the pad, lift to start, and touch to stop when solved. Your best, ao5 and ao12 are saved. Better scanning • If a color looks misread, Cube asks you to rescan that face and marks the cells to check with "?". • Other small improvements.

Cube Pro now supports Family Sharing. • When one person in a Family Sharing group buys Cube Pro, everyone in the family can use Real Advice and AI Battle at no extra cost. • On family members' devices, Pro unlocks automatically when they open the app.

Learning how to turn the cube is now much easier. • A 9-page tutorial appears the first time you open the app. It shows which square to tap to turn which layer — with the cube actually turning. • Revisit it anytime from the “?” at the top right of the home screen. Tick “Don't show again” to stop it from appearing at launch. • If Weekly Cube fails to load, you can now retry — including when it was opened from a link. • The message shown when camera access is not allowed is easier to see.

Fixed a problem where the scan could get stuck on the second face. • After the white face, you can now continue with any side face (previously the green face had to come first). • However you happen to be holding the cube, the scan now carries on to the end.

Now available in Portuguese. • The app's interface now comes in 9 languages: Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. • The App Store page is available in Portuguese too.

Weekly Cube is now easier to get started with. • The solving screen now shows how to turn the cube: tap a square to make a move, double-tap to turn the other way. Dragging only rotates your view and does not turn any layer. • Tap the "?" button at the top right to see these instructions again at any time. • The hint text on the solving screen now matches the button label.

Older cubes with the Japanese colour scheme can now be scanned. • Some cubes, including those sold in Japan until around 2013, have yellow and blue swapped compared with today's standard layout. The scan used to stop at the fourth face for these cubes. The app now recognises either layout automatically and scans all six faces. • The colours named in the on-screen guidance now match your cube's layout.

Fixing colours during a scan is now much quicker. • Tap a wrong square, then pick the right colour from the swatches beside it. No more tapping through the colours one by one. • Squares the scanner wasn't sure about ("?") are selected for you, so a single tap fixes them. • Showing the camera the wrong face no longer sends you back to the start. Faces you have already scanned are kept, and the app shows again how to turn the cube to the next face.

Now available in German, Spanish and French. • The app's interface now comes in 8 languages: Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish and French. • The colour labels on the scan grid used to be English for everyone except Japanese speakers. They are now translated. • Undo/Redo and the Weekly Cube "Top Players" heading are translated too.

Much better Korean and Chinese text throughout the app. • Scanning, solving, Challenge, AI Battle, Weekly Cube and shared cubes now appear in Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Most of this text used to fall back to English. • Colour names and face names (white, yellow, green, blue, red, orange / top face, front face and so on) are translated too.

Better colour recognition when scanning a real cube. • The scanner now learns the colours of your own cube from the centre pieces you have already confirmed, so it adapts to your cube and your lighting. • The first face is corrected for the colour of the room light, which helps most with yellow and orange. • Cells the scanner is unsure about are marked with "?" so you can check those first. • If a purchase is waiting for approval, the purchase screen now tells you instead of appearing to do nothing. • Rankings now use Sign in with Apple. Signing in is only asked for when you submit a result, and we do not receive your name or email address. You can delete your account at any time from the Account row on the home screen.

Updated for iOS 26 and iOS 27. • Buttons and panels now use the new translucent system material on iOS 26 and later. • Screens now cross-fade instead of sliding, and difficulty pickers use the new iOS 27 style. • You can ask Siri to open Weekly Cube, Solo Cube, Real Advice, or AI Battle. • Compatible with iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

When a scan does not line up, the app now tells you what actually went wrong. • A face shown out of order is now reported as such, instead of being called a color error. • A frame the camera could not read is now reported as a lighting or focus problem, so you are not sent hunting for a wrong color.

Scanning is much more forgiving, and AI Battle lets you scan before deciding. • If the six-face scan does not line up, you now re-scan only the face that failed instead of starting over, and the app tells you why. • A face shown to the camera slightly rotated is now corrected automatically instead of being reported as a color error. • AI Battle: scanning is free. The Cube Pro sheet appears when you tap "Start Battle".

You can now open Cube Pro straight from the home screen. • Added a "Cube Pro" row to the home screen, so buying and restoring a purchase no longer means digging through a feature screen. • The purchase sheet is now available in eight languages, and its wording matches what the purchase actually unlocks.

Added Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. • The app now displays in Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). • The App Store listing is now available in 5 languages (Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese). • Small display refinements throughout.

Try Real Advice before you decide. • Scanning a real cube is now free. You can read all six faces with the camera without buying anything. • Solving guidance is free for the first three moves. We only ask you to purchase when you want to keep going. • Fixed the ranking position. Only your fastest solve counts now, so the position and the number of players are counted the same way. • Fixed small display issues.

Sharing improvements and bug fixes. • Simplified how you choose where to share. • Fixed Stories receiving a still image instead of the spinning cube video. • Fixed the caption not being available to paste after sharing once.
