Best Face Forward
Find the clearest face frame
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Choose a keeper, understand why, compare two runners-up, and save or share—all with on-device Apple Vision.
Best Face Forward helps you choose the strongest face frame from a Live Photo or selected image without turning photo review into a dashboard.
Choose a Live Photo or image and the app uses Apple Vision on device to sample candidate frames. The selected Best Frame becomes the main result, with a plain-language reason, Save, Share, Choose Another, and exactly two runners-up for quick comparison.
When you want more detail, See analysis reveals the score breakdown, Quality Timeline, comparison, summary, and full candidate strip. Filters and Still Motion remain available from More photo tools instead of competing with the primary choice.
Features:
- Live Photo and still-image frame review
- On-device Apple Vision face capture quality scoring
- One clear Best Frame with an explainable reason
- Two tappable runners-up
- Save or share the selected frame
- Optional detailed scoring and Quality Timeline
- Filters and Still Motion secondary tools
- Apple Watch companion summary
Best Face Forward does not identify who someone is. It evaluates capture quality only, and selected media is processed on device.

A simpler keeper-first result: your Best Frame is now the hero, with a plain-language reason, Save, Share, Choose Another, and exactly two runners-up. Detailed scores and the Quality Timeline move under See analysis, while Filters and Still Motion stay available from More photo tools.
