Pro and Pro AI now cost less, and both are monthly plans. Need more cloud transcription in a month? Pro and Pro AI members can now buy 12 more hours. You'll find it in Settings > Subscription, and in the note that appears when your monthly hours run out. Settings > Subscription also shows how many hours you've used this month. The plans screen now shows each plan's monthly cloud transcription. Deleting your account now also deletes your Bonfiyah data in iCloud. Deleting all voice signatures now also deletes them from iCloud. To turn voice recognition back on, go to Settings > Danger Zone. Revoking AI consent is clearer. The alert explains what happens, and new recordings stay on your device until you agree again. You can't revoke consent during a recording. iCloud Drive Export is back in Settings, under Sync & Devices. You can create a new project from any Assign to Project list, including on the Record screen. Exports now mark a conversation Privileged when anyone in it is privileged. Settings paths shown in the app now match the Settings screen. Help has updated articles, including your privacy rights. The Person screen scrolls faster. Plus reliability fixes.

Version 4.3 People marked Internal Use Only or with unknown consent stay in your transcripts, AI summaries and everything you send, clearly labelled. Project emails and exported files now carry the same labels as a conversation's own send, and Help explains it correctly. You decide what AI does with your conversations. Revoke AI processing consent any time in Settings → Privacy & Legal → AI Processing Consent. The revoke reaches all your devices, Bonfiyah stops its AI processing for you, and new recordings wait untranscribed until you turn consent back on. Switch off an AI feature in Settings → AI Features and it stays off. Bonfiyah stops running it and hides what it found earlier until you switch it back on. The help and the consent screen now say where voice signatures are kept and how to delete them. Free accounts keep AI summaries. After your trial you can make 3 new AI summaries a month, open any summary you already have, and send a meeting's recap to the people who were in it. One design everywhere. Record, Conversations, People and Insights open the same way on every launch, including the first, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Everything you send ends with a link to Bonfiyah, so the people you share with can get it too. Fixing who's who is easier: search when you move a voice to someone, create and remove people without dead ends, and your own duplicate entry merges itself. Swipe left on a conversation to delete it. Fixes: Delete Account also removes the recordings and copies kept on this device. You stay signed in when you come back to the app. Archive all, the Truth Layer tab's totals and Promise Ledger status rows are fixed. The Bonfiyah wordmark is back on the Record tab, and the Confidentiality menu lines up. The yearly plans show the saving they really give. The Transcript, AI Summary and Read Aloud buttons keep their labels on one line on iPad and Mac. Summaries no longer warn about unknown consent when everyone has given it. Conversations no longer stay stuck on "Transcribing..." in the list.

Version 4.1 Getting started is quicker. Sign in first, then accept everything on one screen, with fewer prompts in your first days. Recording consent, once. You confirm it when you sign up and it covers every recording, so Bonfiyah no longer asks each time you tap Record. If you already use Bonfiyah, you'll be asked to accept the updated terms once. New conversations start as Internal Use Only unless you mark them otherwise. Sorting. Sort your Daily brief, Promises and All my actions by most urgent, newest or oldest, person, or conversation. Each promise now shows the conversation it came from. The Record tab shows your recent conversations. Fixes: Continue Recording no longer closes the app in the middle of a recording. The app opens faster. Sending an AI summary is quicker. When you reach a limit, the message says what actually happened. Notifications now reach new accounts.

Version 4.0 is a redesign of the whole app. A new four-place layout. Record, Conversations, People, and Insights each keep their own place, so switching away and back puts you where you left off. Conversations. Your projects and recordings live on one screen now, with a single sort control and a Recently Deleted area. People. Named people come first, voices still waiting for a name are clearly separated, and consent is easier to review and change. Insights. One findings screen replaces the two separate hubs. Naming a voice starts with the evidence. Tapping a voice that Bonfiyah has not identified takes you straight to what that person actually said, so you can read their words before you put a name to them. Speaker assignment is clearer: picking a person confirms instantly, and voices you assign to the same contact now appear as a single person. Recording reliability. Fixed a crash that could end a long recording early. Recordings now show clips that are still syncing, and Mac uploads recover automatically if the connection stalls. Mac. The sidebar no longer covers the conversation you are reading. Plus many smaller fixes to consent labels, contact linking, and the status shown while a recording is still processing. Fixes since the last build: A person's Insights no longer get stuck loading. When an analysis is still being prepared, the card says so and fills itself in. Voice matching: fixed a case where your own words in a two-voice recording could be credited to the other person. People are never merged automatically just because they share a name. If you merge two people and Bonfiyah keeps one of them separate because the voices do not match, it tells you. Playback: one clip plays at a time. Transcripts: a recording is no longer marked complete while part of it still has no text.

Contact Cleanup now protects your notes. When you merge duplicate contacts, Bonfiyah reads both cards' notes and shows them side by side, so you can see exactly what you're combining. Choose to keep both notes, keep just one, or discard — with a live preview of the result before you commit. Most contact apps can't do this: reading the Notes field requires a restricted entitlement Apple grants case by case, so a merge usually destroys whatever was written on the absorbed card. Apple granted Bonfiyah that access, and your notes never leave your device. Also in this release: • Backups and restore points now capture notes too — so undoing a merge brings everything back, not a stripped copy of the card • Settings search now opens the screen you tapped instead of just clearing the search • Reliability fixes across recording and upload • Fixes a bug where recordings could get stuck uploading and appear lost. The app now finds your audio even if its stored location changed, so stuck clips upload instead of retrying forever.
