This update improves dark mode readability in room lists. Entry pills now keep readable contrast at night, even for teams with very dark primary colors, while preserving team accents in the surrounding room card.

This update adds system-following dark mode. Yap now automatically matches your device appearance, including a dedicated dark palette for the default sports theme while keeping the live room, thread, and game-night experience intact.

This update sharpens Yap around live game-night conversation: a live-first home screen, clearer Live / Threads / Top Takes room layers, stronger game-night prompts, shareable take cards, smarter alerts, and a snappier chat performance pass.

This update polishes live room navigation and layout: cleaner room headers, restored iOS swipe-back behavior, and the same snappy sports chat experience.

This update keeps Yap feeling snappy in live rooms and adds one more polish pass so chat surfaces stay cleaner, clearer, and ready for game-night conversation.

Yap is cleaner and faster: a tighter room browser, fixed room rows, compact circular controls, calmer chat starters, grid-based profile controls, a cooler default theme, and lighter visual effects for smoother scrolling.

Yap 1.7 cleans up the room experience further: starter prompts now read like normal conversation starters, chat UI stays calmer, and the latest theme polish, pinned rooms, live game rooms, edit/unsend, PG moderation, and Spotlight support remain in place.

Yap has a cleaner sports-bar feel: warmer 70s Sideline styling, tighter room browsing, compact Tailgate boards, clearer message controls, and smoother chat surfaces. This update also keeps own-message edit and unsend support ready for live rooms.

Yap is faster and calmer to use: first launch now guides fans one step at a time, room browsing is cleaner, room screens have less clutter, and the sports-bar glass look has been tuned for smoother scrolling.

What's new in Yap 1.4: - Team Pulse now stays available as a compact panel after scrolling instead of disappearing from rooms. - Team Pulse includes local PG prompts when live pulse data is unavailable, so reviewers can test it reliably. - Quiet-room prompts now appear when there are no real fan messages, instead of being blocked by app-authored starter content. - Onboarding and the review-account path have been tightened for a clean first-launch App Review walkthrough.

Yap has a new name and a tighter sports-chat experience: cleaner branding, Team Pulse stories that open before sharing, favorite-team shortcuts, room starter prompts, GIFs, mentions, threads, expanded reactions, report reasons, and the same PG-first moderation.

Team Pulse is now live with room-specific sports headlines, game-day prep cards, and one-tap discussion prompts. This update also adds @mentions, threaded replies, GIF sharing, room activity labels, and mention/thread badges while keeping PG moderation in place.
