Fairtabs is a modern bill-splitting app for trips, roommates, restaurants, and recurring household costs. Snap a receipt, split it cleanly, and settle in one tap with the wallet your friends already use.
WHY FAIRTABS
— Receipt OCR. Take a photo of any receipt, and we auto-fill the merchant, total, and (when itemised) the line items. Faded thermal paper, foreign-currency menus, hand-written tabs — we read what we can and let you tap to fix anything we missed.
— Wallet handoffs that actually work. When it's time to settle up, tap once to open Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle with the exact amount and recipient pre-filled. Fairtabs never sees, holds, or moves your money — the payment happens entirely inside the wallet app you already trust.
— Trip Stories. Every trip becomes a clean recap: who paid the most, who's settled, the timeline of the trip in expenses. The kind of thing you actually want to look back at.
— Friend ledgers. One running balance per friendship — across direct expenses and shared groups. No more "wait, what about that thing from Paris three months ago?"
— Recurring expenses. Rent, utilities, the streaming bundle. Set them once and let them auto-post each month.

100 expenses and 5 receipt scans every month, all split types (equal, %, shares, itemized), and one running balance with every friend. For most people, that's more than enough — we'll never paywall the basics of splitting a bill. Free includes the occasional in-app ad to keep the lights on.

Fairtabs Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Lifts the 100/month expense cap, unlocks unlimited receipt scans, adds expense search across all your tabs and a 6-month spending trend chart, and removes ads. $1.99/month or $17.99/year. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
PRIVACY YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ
