Manage your self-hosted Hermes agent from iPhone—now with Kanban boards, card workflows, Dispatcher runs, live updates, and optional response speed metrics.
Hermex is a native iPhone client for your self-hosted Hermes Agent server. It is designed for people who already run a reachable Hermes Web UI server and want a focused mobile way to keep up with agent work from iPhone.
Connect to your own server, open existing sessions, start new conversations, and follow streamed responses as they arrive. Manage Kanban boards and cards, review status-focused work, update workflows, add comments, inspect history, and preview or launch Dispatcher runs. The app also supports model/profile/reasoning controls, file and photo attachments, workspace file browsing, tasks, skills, memory, usage details, and a share extension for staging content from other iOS apps.
Agent execution happens on the configured Hermes server, not on the iPhone. Prompts, attachments, shared content, workspace requests, board and card actions, and session actions are sent only to the server URL you enter. Recent sessions and messages may be cached locally for offline read-only viewing, and the cache can be cleared from Settings.
Hermex does not provide a hosted Hermes backend, in-app account creation, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. You need your own reachable Hermes Web UI server to use the app.

Yup. It works quite well. Never know if reviews on AI-related apps are real or not, but the positive reviews for this one are legit. UI is fast and satisfying and doesn’t feel like a PWA or webview. One thing I do currently wish it had was the ability to browse to a different working folder to open a chat/session in. From what I can tell, every chat/session opens in my default workspace folder (~/.hermes-playground) and I don’t see a way to change the path / create a new dir for the session when starting it. Minor gripe though. So far, so good.
Amazing interface

By far one of the best interfaces i’ve seen for hermes, with seamless mobile integration. The app really lays out a lot of hermes features / functionalities well, and is much better than the standard CLI for that reason. Coming from using a mobile terminal like Terminus, this is a game changer. Easy to set up with netbird instead of tailscale as well.
Just what was needed!!!

This app goes above and beyond what I was looking for. Using the Telegram chat with Hermes is lacking in privacy and cannot have multiple chats going at once. This app solved all of my agent access problems. Use a tunnel service to access anywhere without opening any ports, bye bye Telegram bot.
This is awesome

I tried Scarf, several progression web apps, a few agent apps and this has been the best. Nothing sketchy I have to install on my server, beautiful layout and simple. Only thing I wish it has was the kanban boards, I’ve yet to see any UI that worked well for them yet. That being said, minor feature considering the web app can manage them and you can also manage them via chat Last thing, I hope the developer plans on monitoring this. I was actually looking for ways to pay him since I liked this app so much

Thank you so much!Kanban boards are a work in progress. Really want to make sure I can nail down the right UI for them to make it as intuitive as possible.Open to tips at hermexapp(.)com 🙏
Version 1.5 brings Kanban boards to Hermex.
• Browse Boards and status-focused views, create and edit Cards, manage workflows, add comments, review operational history, and perform bulk actions.
• Preview and launch Dispatcher runs from a Card.
• Keep Kanban data current with live updates and safer offline reconciliation.
• Optionally display response speed metrics for streamed replies.
• Hide unused main-page and chat sections from Settings for a cleaner workspace.
• Improved reliability when returning from a new chat, opening deep-linked sessions, navigating workspace folders, reopening cached transcripts, and recovering interrupted response streams.
• Smoother transcript opening and bounded local chat caching.
