MSO FreeCell Arena
Race the same deal, live
Free
MSO FreeCell Arena is a competitive FreeCell game. Everyone races the same deal, so the only variable is how well you play it. Live head-to-head races, ghost replays of other people's runs, leaderboards, and a daily challenge.

FEATURES
- Same deal for everyone: every player in a race gets the identical shuffle, so skill decides.
- Live races: play head-to-head in real time in the Arena Queue or in a Group Play lobby with friends.
- Ghost replays: race the recorded run of another player, move for move.
- Daily challenge: one deal a day, one leaderboard.
- Leaderboards and personal bests across difficulty levels, from Easy to Extreme.
- Style quests and a level ladder that reward clean, fast play.
- Watch replays of your own wins any time.
- Free hints, undo, and auto-collect for a relaxed solo game when you want one.
- Works on iPhone and iPad; a free MSO account keeps your stats in one place.
Play anonymously right away. No account is required to start.
more - The game now opens on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. The previous version closed right after launch on those systems; sorry about that.
- Replays recorded on a phone or tablet now show a fingertip ring only while the player's finger was on the screen, and the pointer no longer slides from one move to the next. Every existing replay plays this way too; mouse recordings are unchanged.

- New to FreeCell? Easy now offers help: the best move shown in gold with its reason, move arcs that show which moves keep the deal winnable, and a card the moment a deal can't be won, with a way back. Refused moves shake and say why.
- Group lobbies: New Game opens the lobby pane, places and leavers show on the chip, the countdown runs on server time, and the winner's replay is a tap away from Race decided.
- Fixes: watching a replay mid-deal no longer spoils your result; round results no longer go empty.
- A player without an account now sees why they can't be challenged, and how to be. Settings: the race chip and notices moved to Display; Moving Cards is on the Accessibility tab too.
1.4.46 Oct 19
- Tap to move: one tap sends a card where it should go. Prefer a double-tap, or tapping the card and then the place? Pick yours under Settings > Game > Moving Cards. Dragging always works.
- A card in a free cell now goes up to its foundation on a tap instead of sliding into another free cell.
- Double-taps are easier to land, and a small wobble of the finger no longer turns a tap into a drag.
- Packed columns keep a little more of each card showing, so the suit stays readable on a small screen.
1.4.45 Oct 16
- Every dot on the win screen's results strip now names its player. Tap any dot to see who ran it, and watch that run.
- Style quests now pay XP: +25 for a quest, +40 for a harder one, counted on the win screen the moment it completes.
- Your win streak is shown on every win screen, and the Hardcore death screen says which streak you lost.
- In Group Play, the result screen shows how far along each opponent is while you wait for the round to finish.
- Replay errors now read as plain sentences, and a player profile popup closes when the row it describes goes away.
1.4.44 Oct 15
- Solo deals now race you against up to three recorded runs from real players, labelled as replays, and the win screen tells you where you placed.
- The Arena now waits for another live player. Queue up, keep playing solo, and the match pulls you in when someone joins. Recorded runs only fill out a race that already has two live players.
- New Accessibility tab in Settings, with Large print cards: a big rank and suit, one big pip, no face art.
- Playing the same deal a second time now gets its own clock and its own time.
- The "Ready for a live race" setting is gone. Your place in the queue already carries over to new deals.
- The supporter panel is reworded to say plainly what supporters get.
1.4.43 Oct 12
- Winning a Group round now saves your game to the replay library, just as Arena wins already did, even when you joined the round after it started.
- Creating many lobbies in one hour now shows a clear message instead of a generic error.
- The supporter panel labels players who were with us from the start as Founder.
1.4.41 Oct 11
- Settings are organized into Game, Appearance, Display and Account tabs, and nothing scrolls off the pane.
- A Sound group with a volume slider and a mute that reach every sound the game makes.
- When all four free cells are full, the board says so. Rest on a live board for a while and a quiet cue points at Hint.
- Your first quest offer on the win screen comes with an arrow and a note explaining what a quest is.
- Players who support MSO Games wear a small mark next to their name. Tap it to see what it means.
- Short messages now appear at the bottom of the screen, clear of the buttons.
1.4.40 Oct 9
- Arena races now fill their open seats with recorded runs from real players, labelled as replays, so a race can start when nobody else is in the queue. A live player gets a seat first.
- New "How to play" card with the rules of FreeCell: open it from Settings, or from the link under the labels on your first deal.
- Daily Challenge: the win screen has arrows to step through past days.
- Reopen the game after a win and the win screen comes back as you left it, your own curve included.
- Ranks on the win screen now count players, so the big rank and the Top Players list agree.
1.4.39 Oct 6
- Win screen: each Top Players row now has a tick box that chooses whether that run is drawn on the chart, and the chart follows the tab you are on.
- If the win screen's results fail to load, the game asks again on its own and offers Retry if it gives up. No placeholder figures.
- Times from an hour up now show hours (2:36:40), and where a time is a median the label says Median.
- Opponents' race progress in Group Play and Arena now reaches you in about half a second.
- Before you play, the game tells you whether your results are being saved.
1.4.38 Sep 30
- New to FreeCell? Touch and hold a card to see where it can go. On by default, switch it off in Settings. Not available in Hardcore.
- When a move isn't allowed, the game now tells you why.
- Your first deal labels the parts of the board, and the win screen explains its tabs the first time you see them.
- Group Play and Arena: every round has one winner, the first to finish. Anyone else who clears the board is shown as Finished.
- Opponents' progress in a race updates faster.
1.4.37 Sep 29
- Group Play invite links now take you straight into the lobby, asking only for a name if you don't have one.
- The Group Play lobby code is bigger and easier to read on stream, with a 'Join at msogames.com/join' hint.
- Replays skip long idle pauses: you see the first 30 seconds, then playback jumps ahead with a label.
- Fixes styling on older iOS versions.
1.4.35 Sep 24
Hardcore links now open the new-game picker with Hardcore already staged.
Win celebrations alternate evenly between the card cascade and the confetti - the Settings checkboxes still decide which ones are in play.
A short one-time question after your first win asks how you found us.
1.4.34 Sep 20
- Daily Challenge: a dot on the Daily button when today's deal is unplayed.
- An optional once-a-day reminder at launch to play the daily (turn it off in Settings).
- Arrows to step between past days on the daily leaderboard.
- The Group Play dot now means another player is online.
1.4.33 Sep 18
- The classic win cascade: cards bounce off the foundations when you win (toggle in Settings).
- Daily Challenge calendar: tap Past Days to browse every past daily and see each day's final board.
- Replay any past daily to see where you would have placed. It never changes that day's board or your streak.
- Fixes: Watch Best on a daily board plays the right replay; the window position is saved on quit.
1.4.32 Sep 17
- Every casual difficulty is now open to play: Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme.
- Challenge links: send a friend a link to your exact deal, and the link now stays live for 7 days. A returning player lands on the board, never a second deal.
- Group Play handles big tables: pinned controls, a scrolling roster, and results capped to the top 10 with your own row at its true rank.
- Group rounds end at the first finish; late joiners race on the group clock; the host can start the next round any time.
- The race chip shows Done for finishers, and the lobby now updates live instead of on a timer.
- Win screen: the Personal Best badge names what you beat (best time, best moves, or both).
- Fixes: cards no longer fly under the foundations; floating cards stay anchored to the play area; a stale name is never re-offered after a refused join.
1.4.31 Sep 16
- The game now opens on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.
