Every color tells a story. Trichromacy helps you find it — through harmony rules, image extraction, and 3D color space you can actually rotate.
Trichromacy is a color tool for people who actually work with color — designers, illustrators, painters, and anyone who builds with palettes for a living.
Build palettes from any seed color. Pick a color, choose a harmony rule (complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary, tetradic, square), and generate balanced palettes ready to export.
Extract colors from your photos. Pull a palette of dominant colors from any image, or posterize a photo into tonal values to study light and shadow the way a painter does.
Explore color in three dimensions. Most apps work in sRGB, which is mathematically convenient but doesn't match how humans see color. Trichromacy lets you work in perceptually-uniform color systems — Munsell, OKLCH, LCH, and HSLuv — and visualize them as 3D solids you can rotate, slice, and study.
Export everywhere. Save palettes as JPEG, PDF, ASE (Adobe), CSS, or hex lists. Use them in Photoshop, Figma, your design system, or your sketchbook.
Built for working professionals, not flashy demos. Trichromacy keeps the interface calm so the color stays loud.
