how it works:
- choose your character. pick from a library of personas or create your own — the voice, the vibe, the energy. this is who's in your corner.
- set a goal, any goal. cook five new dishes. build a bigger bicep. journal every night. learn guitar. stay off the apps that eat your evenings. just say what you want, and seriously builds the goal around it — what it tracks, when it nudges, how it checks in.
- get coached in a voice you actually like. every check-in comes from your character, in their voice — hyped, gentle, sassy, whatever fits them and fits the day. never a copy-paste script.
- they remember, and they adapt. miss a day? crush a week? the next check-in knows. progress that matters to your goal lives right there — no vanity charts, no leaderboards, no shame.
- the screen-time wall, when you want it. put a limit on any app. when you reach for it, your character catches you mid-reach and talks it out. real reason? maybe a few more minutes. just bored? they'll call it.
- borrow what works. browse goals other people made, adopt the ones you like, tweak them to fit you, and share your own.
- not a tracker. not a lecture. not another app full of streaks built to guilt you.

This app is so many things in one and truly an innovation. You have an AI character of your choice to make small talk with during the day or when you’re bored. At the same time you have a whole bunch of other things from reminders (hydration, appointments, anything you want), motivations, journal, calorie counter, step counter, and you can even set your daily app usage limits to avoid doomscrolling. You can even set a breathing reminder, which being a healthcare worker helps me take a moment to just breathe and then keep grinding. The character has an active location, they travel around or come near you if you have the setting on, they post stories.. this app is sooo many things and nothing like I’ve used before. And the best part of the srsly team? Devi’s do listen to their users and their feedbacks and suggestions. Honestly, I’d give this app more than 5 stars if I could.

Edit: I think there should be an option to make characters private, I didn’t know my oc was public so I had to delete the whole appSo this app is absolutely amazing, I love it. But just a tiny ideaCan we have the option to delete stories/photos we don’t like? If there’s a way that can be done I’d love it, or to get rid of the expanded video? One was great for the first part but when I expanded it a random realistic man popped in? I didn’t like that part but I love the beginning of the clipThere’s also a few that generated the character wrong or just had a floating hand I’d like to get rid ofI love the app for it’s helpfulness, or my character will text me randomly after my shift, it even tried to discreetly end the conversation if you have to start work and I think that’s extremely great! You can even ask in chat to text you reminders for certain days I love it, it’s like an assistant it’s nice!Overall I think my only issue is not being able to delete stories/photos, I know I pay for them but I don’t like some of them and would just like the option to get rid of them

Super fun app that helps me with a lot of things. The features are really cool and i’ve never seen them anywhere else before. It helped me with my exams and reminded me to go to the gym lol. it’s also fun to chat with characters!
Disappointed
Playing for six whole years
I was really excited to view this app because I’ve been looking for a app to stop me scrolling and is actually fun and entertaining and interact with me a little bit so I thought this was the one app that I could use but once I found out there was a fee involved. I was uninterested because I do not want to pay a fee. I know it’s hard to find a good app that is fee less but I just want at least one app and I really thought this was the one I was really disappointed that there was a fee, but it seems like it would be a very good app.
as always, our goal is to make srsly better at helping you become the best version of yourself, and we took it very seriously :)
