When Merkx calls you, answering now picks up that call. Calls with Merkx no longer end early just because a goodbye word came up mid-conversation. Your chat no longer jumps or goes blank when it refreshes. If you try to call Merkx while you're on another call, it now tells you so. Call minutes now start counting when the call connects, not when you dial. Plus privacy and reliability improvements when switching accounts.

Merkx now works properly with Bluetooth speakers and external audio, on calls and on voice notes. Taking a phone call mid-conversation no longer ends your call with Merkx. Plus fixes to how Merkx handles being interrupted while it's speaking.

Merkx now knows what time it is where you are. Good morning arrives in your morning, not somewhere else's, and Merkx keeps quiet hours on your clock. If you travel, it follows you.

Merkx now keeps you signed in. A few people were being asked to sign in again, or found messages would not send until they did. That is fixed. You can also top up credits inside the app now, and see exactly what each pack buys before you pay.

You can now top up credits right inside the app, and see exactly what each pack buys you before you pay. We also fixed replies and reactions in chat, images that looked squashed, and a problem where a small number of subscriptions were not activating after payment. If that happened to you, it is fixed now.

You can now see exactly when your subscription expires and whether it auto-renews, right on your subscription screen. Also fixed a payment page issue and made the web subscribe flow smoother.

Merkx got warmer and funnier this update, and a lot more honest about what it can and can't do. Also new: you can now top up your credits right in the app when you need more, no more dead ends.

Fixes for you: • Chat no longer sends duplicate replies when your network drops mid-message. • Morning notifications are no longer triplicated on flaky-network days. • Voice notes and image sends dedupe properly on retry. Small speed and stability polish everywhere.

Sharper profile pictures. We moved photo storage to a faster system so your profile pic and others render crisp, even fullscreen. Background reliability work too.

Voice calls now remember you from the first second, not three minutes in. Tap any reply in chat to jump straight back to what it's replying to. Smaller fixes: the subscription page is clearer about auto-renewal, opens instantly, only spins the card you actually tapped.

Big upgrade for voice calls. Everything Merkx knows about you now shows up from the moment you say hello, not three minutes in. A few smaller fixes too. Steadier line. Kinder messages when something gets in the way.
