Every Monday morning, you get a one-page PDF in your inbox — what sold, what it cost, what the margin was by category, and exactly how much of each bottle and keg to order next. No spreadsheets. No guessing.
WHAT IT DOES
Weekly report — Cost and margin by category, delivered every Monday. Sales pulled live from Toast, cost rolled up from supplier invoices, wastage factored in. One page, your inbox, every week.
Order Forecast — Suggested order quantities based on a 4-week rolling burn rate, with your safety cushion baked in. No more eyeballing the walk-in.
Per-line food cost — Wire each menu item to a recipe, and food cost rolls up through sub-recipes (sauces, batches). See margin per plate, not just kitchen-wide.
Mobile inventory count — Bartenders count from their phone. Decimals welcome — half a keg is 0.5. Counts feed the order forecast and keep variance honest.
Supplier invoices — Drop a PDF invoice in. Deterministic per-supplier parsers extract every line. Currently supports Provi (covers Spec's and anything ordered through provi.com) and Ben E. Keith Foods, with more added as customers send samples.
Payroll — Hours, tips, and tip-outs pulled live from Toast time entries. Bartenders see their own number. Managers see the location.
Multi-location — Built for groups from day one. Each location has its own catalog, costs, and suggested orders. Recipes and ingredients can be copied between locations under the same ownership group.
ROLES
Owner — sees every location, manages users and settings.
Manager — tied to one location. Approves invoices, runs reports, manages staff at that location.
Bartender — counts inventory at their location. No cost or margin visibility.
REQUIREMENTS
A Toast POS subscription. Run the Tab connects via Toast's API to pull sales, menu items, and time entries. Setup takes about 30 minutes per location.
Run the Tab is a B2B subscription service. Employer provisions access; staff cannot self-register.
ABOUT
Built for the 4-bar Goats Arena group in Texas. Now opening up to other bars on the same setup. Questions: support is reachable in-app.
