No more plastic. Your cards live on your phone. Tap a card and the barcode lights up right away at maximum brightness, so even older scanners can read it on the first try.
WHAT TESSA DOES
— One-tap code — tap a card in the list, the grid, or search results and it opens straight to the checkout screen
— Show at checkout — full-screen barcode, max brightness, screen stays on
— Add a card — scan the plastic, snap a photo, or type it in (number + code type)
— Cards from screenshots — pick several images from your photos; Tessa finds the codes and store names, and you check them before they're added
— Card photos — front and back, for cards with a printed name or a QR code on the back
— Notes — jot down where a card works or whose it is; you'll see it on the card's detail screen
— Search — by store name, card number, or note, no need to type accents
— Sorting — Favorites and categories (Groceries, Health, Fashion, Dining, Transport, Other)
— Custom color — for cards without a logo, pick a swatch from the Tessa palette
PRIVACY
— Your cards, numbers, notes, and photos never leave your phone unless you export them yourself.
— No account, no cloud — cards live in a local database on your device.
— No ads, and your data is never used for advertising. Nothing to sell you, no pushed deals, no payment plans.
— The app sends only anonymous usage stats and error reports — never the contents of your cards. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
BACKUP AND TRANSFER
— Password-protected backup — a .tessa file with your cards and their photos; only you know the password, and a meter shows how strong it is.
— Save it wherever you want (Files, iCloud Drive, email, USB) and restore it on a new phone. Backups from version 1.0 open when you enter their original 6-digit PIN as the password.
— Import from the CSV or ZIP export of another loyalty card app.

What's new in 1.1.0:
One tap to your code: tap a card in the list, the grid, or search results to go straight to the checkout screen.
Add cards from screenshots and photos: pick several images from your photo library, and Tessa finds the codes and store names, then shows you the cards to review before adding them. No camera permission needed.
Backups are now protected by a password of any length instead of a 6-digit PIN, with a strength meter. They also include your card photos and card order. To open a backup from Tessa 1.0, enter its old PIN as the password.
Notes now appear in card details, and search finds cards by note and card number too. After an import, you'll see what was added, what was already in Tessa, and why anything wasn't imported.
Easier-to-read text, larger tap targets, and settings organized into clear groups.
Fixes: the code at checkout now appears exactly as it was saved; card import and backup restore are more reliable; screen brightness is properly restored when you leave the checkout screen.
