I appreciate you sharing your perspective, though I think the review oversimplifies what the app is trying to achieve. My Days is intentionally more than a journaling app. The goal is to bring journaling, tasks, and trackers together to create a complete picture of your day and, over time, your life. The idea is that when you ask yourself, “What did I do last Friday?”, “What was I working on during that period?”, or “When was the last time I felt really good?”, the app can help you find those answers from your own history. That broader purpose naturally requires more than a traditional journal interface. While UX is subjective and there is certainly room for improvement, the complexity you describe is largely a result of the app trying to solve a bigger problem than simply storing journal entries.I’m always open to specific, constructive feedback about what feels unintuitive. But dismissing the product as “someone got a little too excited with Claude Code” doesn’t really address the design decisions or the problem the app is built to solve.
