What's new in Courtr 1.2.4 Smarter Americano sessions • No more idle courts: as soon as a court frees up, Up Next finds a game for the players who are available, even if it's from a later round. • New "Auto-adjust schedule" option: switch it on when creating an Americano game, and if a court would otherwise sit empty, Courtr reshuffles the rest of the schedule so everyone keeps playing. • Fairer scoring for late joiners: players who join partway through no longer pull everyone else's scores down. • New Schedule tab: see every round at a glance, with your upcoming matches highlighted. • Adding or removing players mid-session now works smoothly. No more 2 vs 1 games. Guests to members • Played as a guest before signing up? Your league organiser can now merge your guest games into your account, so your points, games and trophies all count. More reliable on match day • Scores only update once they're safely saved, so there's no more guessing whether a score went through. • If the venue Wi-Fi drops, a banner lets you know you're reconnecting, and scores sync again once you're back. Faster everywhere • The home screen, leagues and sessions all load noticeably faster. • Cleaner loading screens throughout the app. Fixes • Standings for closed seasons now show the correct points and game counts. • The home leaderboard now shows only the current season, matching the season page. • Player stats now say "games" instead of "sessions", which was misleading. • Display names now show correctly for players who signed up on the web. • Tab labels no longer get cut off on smaller Android screens. • Session badge and font display fixes.

Star one to set it as your default — it opens straight away every time. Dynamic court assignment (Americano) A live Playing / Up Next layout replaces the old round accordion. Tap Start next to any queued match to assign it to a court. When courts are free and the current round is running out of matches, the next round spills in automatically so nothing sits idle. Score entry shortcut (Americano) Set a points target and typing one score auto-fills the other. No more arithmetic mid-game. Remove a player mid-Americano Need to swap someone out? Remove them from the edit screen and the schedule regenerates around the remaining players. Active matches are protected — the removed player stays in until their game ends. Team draw preview (Round-robin) See the generated teams before locking them in. Tap Reshuffle as many times as you like until the draw looks right. Season standings The leaderboard now shows only the current season. Tap any past season to see its final standings and trophies.
